Mid-Sized Eclectic Home Design Ideas
BANDD DESIGNAn eclectic, modern media room with bold accents of black metals, natural woods, and terra cotta tile floors. We wanted to design a fresh and modern hangout spot for these clients, whether they’re hosting friends or watching the game, this entertainment room had to fit every occasion.
We designed a full home bar, which looks dashing right next to the wooden accent wall and foosball table. The sitting area is full of luxe seating, with a large gray sofa and warm brown leather arm chairs. Additional seating was snuck in via black metal chairs that fit seamlessly into the built-in desk and sideboard table (behind the sofa).... In total, there is plenty of seats for a large party, which is exactly what our client needed.
Lastly, we updated the french doors with a chic, modern black trim, a small detail that offered an instant pick-me-up. The black trim also looks effortless against the black accents.

Grace Home FurnishingsThis photo features the Channing Bed and the Garbo Night Chests, both from the Grace Home Collection©. The Channing Bed was initially created for Los Angeles wedding and event planner Mindy Weiss and photographed for a feature story in "O at Home" Magazine. An archway in her 1930s Spanish style home inspired the shape of the button tufted headboard, to which we added the Regency elements to bring in a little glamour. The design was incorporated into the Grace Home Collection© and shown in a feature on upholstered headboards in the September 2009 issue of House Beautiful Magazine. The Garbo Chest features hand beveled mirror, etched door and drawer fronts and solid glass hardware. It can be used as a night stand or as an elegant side table in the living room.

Modern, transitional and traditional elements are used to create a fun, travel inspired, peaceful space for baby and parents. Baby furniture includes contemporary white crib and hamper. UserThe Tony Duquette Splashing Water Chandelier makes a huge splash and impact and is the focal point of the dining room. The use of two different grasscloths adds texture to the entire space. F. Schumacher Greek Key ceiling wallpaper in an ink blue adds geometry and a two dimensional effect, offset by the subtle glam grasscloth from Philip Jeffries. It adds a bit of sparkle and glamor to the space.
