Awesome, Gesila! How old is your Gentle Giant?

I got Gentle Giant off the HL Auction in July of 2011, it had one or two eyes. It sat in a pot, neglected until I planted it in this spot last May. I think it only had four eyes last year. It really leaped!

The King is so pretty! Have fun in Ohio. Are you visiting hosta farms?

Gesila, your gardens are really noteworthy and I could stare at your hostas for hours - they are so pristine. I am also staring at mine a lot and taking pictures daily because there is so much activity amongst the hostas.

The slugs are few, bait working well, no bite marks in the leaves yet, and they all look so fresh that I wish they would stay that way all season (pipe dream). There is such a feeling of euphoria whilst weaving through the pots of hostas throughout the garden. They bring such joy and immense satisfaction, don't they?

Great hostas,Gesila! Most of these I will never see,and I don't do any online ordering. My Dino from last year,was one of the plants that really got frozen this year,so I guess it's 'wait'll next year',for him. God luck on your trip to Ohio. Phil

Great pictures and I really like 'The King'... Does the yellow edge hold it's colour most of the season?
