huge white lily-like flowers on kelly green hosta- I.D. help plse

i have never seen a hosta like this before today. just extraordinary. large plant,kelly green deeply ridged leaves

with hundreds of flower stalks with enormous bright white amaryllis/lily- like flowers. anyone help me w/ an i.d.?

anyone know if any other varieties have these extraordinary flowers?

If it's blooming now and the flowers are fragrant sounds like plantaginea to me.

Id by flower alone .. there is no other 6 inch flower .... i might argue whether it is kelly green to my eye .... but it doesnt matter if its a 6 inch flower ...ken

yes, that's it! thank you,you knowledgable folks to the rescue! now, next question, is this commonly found; i.e. if a nursery stocks many hosta varieties, are they likely to have this one? of course you can't know for sure, just wondering if it's usually easy to find.

and also, are there blue and/or variegated leaved cultivars
of plantaginea so that the large and fragrant flowers are present?

I can find plantaginea at nearly every nursery I go to! It's a very common plant.

BTW.. kelly green is the color of a shamrock .... or the color of the irish countryside ....

plantaginea.. in my eye.. is a deep lime ...

but at least we arent color blind.. lol ... ken
