Lakeside Shore Master - fall colours wins HOTY

Now that I have your attention....lol...lol... I took this photo just now. Not only was it a beauty all season long, now it has really outdone itself. For fall colours, texture and form, it wins hosta of the year in my garden this year.
The leaves don't wrinkle, shrivel or dry up. I can't say the same for the rest.

Looks lovely Jo, so many turn straight to slime without this stage, its a real bonus. Reminds me of garlic butter.

I'm stuffed with schnitzel and rice and tomato salad, but shrimp or lobster in garlic butter is great anytime! lol true, Denis it does look like garlic butter..great description.

Beverly and Denis and Don, thank you for looking...I am amazed at how intact each leaf is..just a week ago it still had all its colour.

June Spirit is just starting to take on some gold...I wonder if she will shine like this?

That's real pretty Jo. It's a bonus to have a hosta turn a beautiful fall color as your Lakeside Shore Master did. Good luck with June Spirit. I hope it will look great too!
