It was definitely made after 1840, because that's when electroplating first was used. The design is very classic -- Adams springs to mind -- and has been reproduced pretty continuously. The stamping on the back looks 20th century to me, but I don't know why. I can't see the first mark very well -- is it a lamb? A man sticking out his tongue?

You can research the marks and see if you can discover the company that made it.

Well i know its a Sheffield stamp. And btw that is "The bearded man" stamp. Took me awhile to figure that out,lol.

But i truly have no idea what to price it at in my shop.

My MIL had that same dish....wedding gift in the 1930's.
The price would be determined by the condition....somewhere between $5 and $45.

Condition is almost perfect. But i will most likely do around 29-35. Thanks again!
