Were the cabinets sprayed? If so what color and finish is that please? Black is even more difficult than white when it comes to finishing cabinetry. Thanks.

Just a suggestion....Tuxedo Tie from Valspar in a semi-gloss finish.

I'm certain the kitchen cabinets above are in a satin finish - not a semi-gloss....
...and I wouldn't do a semi-gloss finish on cabinetry again unless it was sprayed - I've found that it tends to orange peel too much whereas a satin finish has just a bit less gloss but still has a nice glow and finishes more smoothly when using the same type of low-nap roller.
