The divider in a low-divide sink doesn't come all the way up. This allows you the best of both worlds in that the sink will still swallow a large pan, but still gives you two sinks.

You'll have to look carefully because the divider reflection makes it appear that this is a fully divided sink. It is not.

The sink pictured above is a Kohler; we install a lot of those without complaint. Kraus makes nice sinks as does Elkay and C-Tech. Those are production sinks. The custom guys are in another universe.

Another example of low divide that may be a little easier to see.

I'm buying this sink - it fit my criteria of undermount, 16 gauge, at least 30", as big as possible from counter to wall, and offset drain.
