Rustic meets Urban Chic
Interior designer Rebecca Robeson, mixed the glamour of luxury fabrics, furry rugs, brushed brass and polished nickel, clear walnut… both stained and painted... alongside rustic barn wood, clear oak and concrete with exposed ductwork, to come up with this dreamy, yet dramatic, urban loft style Bedroom.
Three whimsical "Bertjan Pot" pendant lights, suspend above the bed and nightstands creating a spectacular effect against the reclaimed barn wood wall.
At the foot of the bed, two comfortable upholstered chairs (Four-Hands) and a fabulous Italian leather pouf ottoman, sit quietly on an oversized bamboo silk and sheepskin rug. Rebecca adds coziness and personality with 2 oval mirrors directly above the custom-made nightstands.
Adjacent the bed wall, another opportunity to add texture to the 13-foot-tall room with barn wood, serving as its backdrop to a large 108” custom made dresser and 72” flat screen television.
Collected and gathered bedding and accessories make this a cozy and personal resting place for our homeowner.
In this Bedroom, all furniture pieces and window treatments are custom designs by Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson made specifically for this project.

Bedroom in downtown loft with NO windows! This was the challenge Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson faced when beginning this Denver Loft Remodel.
Rebecca began by identifying the focal-point wall and addressing the overall dark feel of the room. She painted 3 walls a soft grey and one wall a dark navy blue. Rebecca applied her creative genius to the space by hanging nine beveled mirrors on the dark wall above the bed as a clever way to fool the eye into thinking the mirrors were windows. To further indulge the concept, Rebecca added crisp white linen panels to mimic window treatments on either side. This design idea created a dramatic symmetrical backdrop for the Bedroom furniture... A spectacular oversized blue and white rug (Aja Rugs) sets a perfect foundation for the queen size bed with two oversize nightstands in crisp white, the Bedroom was complete.

When you dad is a professional pitcher, it is pretty easy to decide that you want a baseball themed bedroom. Our client had various pitching grips photographed which are the focal point of this space and will be an heirloom for the family. Stripes in muted tones wrap around the entire room and will be a backdrop as the little boy grows up. A classic iron bed topped with vintage baseball themed bedding add subtle color and pattern. Reading lamps above the bed make bedtime story time easy.

The master bedroom of this South Carolina mountain home is swathed in natural light, beckoning its owners to rest and relax. Rich taupe moldings add depth, contrasting with the ivory plaster walls and ceiling. Punctuating the ceiling are exposed beams that have been stained to coordinate with the walnut-stained hardwoods that blanket the floors.
An iron bed stands on an Oushak rug in shades of vanilla and biscuit. Almond panels with eyelet detailing hang from the bed’s canopy and coordinate with the skirt. Bedding in white, cream and taupe is layered to create sumptuous texture. Flanking the bed are ebony chests with serpentine fronts. At its foot, a traditional bench with black Queen Anne legs is covered in a damask chenille. Antique brass lamps crowned with ecru shades have a filigree texture, adding to the room's feminine air. A convex mirror hangs above the bed, reflecting the light washing in through the ample windows and doors.
Suspended from bronze iron rods are sheer draperies embroidered with a floral pattern, allowing sunshine to filter through windows painted Sherwin Williams Black Fox. Woven blinds coordinate with the stain of the beams and control light and privacy. A lounge chair dressed in crisp off-white and trimmed with bronze nails is paired with a nickel side table

Located steps away from the beach, the client engaged us to transform a blank industrial loft space to a warm inviting space that pays respect to its industrial heritage. We use anchored large open space with a sixteen foot conversation island that was constructed out of reclaimed logs and plumbing pipes. The island itself is divided up into areas for eating, drinking, and reading. Bringing this theme into the bedroom, the bed was constructed out of 12x12 reclaimed logs anchored by two bent steel plates for side tables.

This artwork is sewn like a quilt and made out of handmade Japanese papers, new and recycled silk from antique kimonos and thrift store dresses. about 24" x 72" over a queen size bed. BANKS BED, shown here in King size. Also available in Queen and Cal King. The piece de resistance of any sensual sleep chamber. Our fabulous four-poster with a sleek modern metal frame in rich satin-brass finish. We love the way this bed creates an intimate “room within a room” feeling, while also providing all the comfort of an upholstered bed. The three-panel fabric headboard lets you lean back to read and relax. It works with both our Luxe and Super Luxe mattresses. And it includes a matching fabric box-spring cover. Also shown: our Banks side tables, with elongated drawer pulls in the same satin-brass finish as the bed. The Banks collection includes trembisi-wood tables and chests that are also well suited to pairing with many other pieces in our collection. MILLER BENCH: Tufting and pleating abound... making both Miller Rectangular Bench and Square styles elegant, eye catching additions to a living space and well suited to centering a conversation area. They rest on wood plinth bases, making them look like they’re floating just above the floor. Truly sophisticated “comfortable cocktail tables”-- softer for putting your feet up on and also useful for serving when you put a tray down.

Kids Bedrooms can be fun. This preteen bedroom design was create for a young girl in need o her own bedroom. Having shared bedrooms with hr younger sister it was time Abby had her own room! Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson took the box shaped room and added a much needed closet by using Ikea's PAX wardrobe system which flanked either side of the window. This provided the perfect spot to add a simple bench seat below the window creating a delightful window seat for young Abby to curl up and enjoy a great book or text a friend. Robeson's artful use of bright wall colors mixed with PB teen bedding makes for a fun exhilarating first impression when walking into Abby's room! Curated Nest
Master Bedroom: This suburban New Jersey couple wanted the architectural features of this expansive bedroom to truly shine, and we couldn't agree more. We painted the walls a rich color to highlight the vaulted ceilings and brick fireplace, and kept draperies simple to show off of the huge windows and lovely country view. We added a batten board treatment on the back wall to enhance the bed as the focal point and create a farmhouse chic feel. We love the chandelier floating above, reflecting light across the room off of each dangling crystal teardrop. Similar to the dining room, we let texture do the heavy lifting to add visual depth as opposed to color or pattern. Neutral tones in linen, metallic, shagreen, brick (fireplace), and wood create a light and airy space with plenty of textural details to appreciate.
