A traditional style home brought into the new century with modern touches. the space between the kitchen/dining room and living room were opened up to create a great room for a family to spend time together rather it be to set up for a party or the kids working on homework while dinner is being made. All 3.5 bathrooms were updated with a new floorplan in the master with a freestanding up and creating a large walk-in shower.

This master bath is a spa-like retreat with plenty of natural light. The oversize shower boasts plenty of space including a bench. The shower wall tile is a porcelain tile that closely resembles carrera marble giving this space a boost of luxury. Alpine white cabinets with quartz counter-tops are in keeping with the clean feel of master bath. Oversize porcelain gray floor tile set off these cabinets and the stand-alone soaking tub.

The challenge with this project was to utilize an originally small space to create a larger, comfortable, functional and stylish master bathroom. The client requested significant storage, so we utilized the angled walls to create additional cabinet and drawer space. This jewel of a powder room started with our homeowner's obsession with William Morris "Strawberry Thief" wallpaper. After assessing the Feng Shui, we discovered that this bathroom was in her Wealth area. So, we really went to town! Glam, luxury, and extravagance were the watchwords. We added her grandmother's antique mirror, brass fixtures, a brick floor, and voila! A small but mighty powder room.

A young family sought their forever home where they would grow together and create lasting memories. Designing this custom home on a spacious 4.5-acre waterfront lot provided the perfect setting to create an openness with spaces where every member of the family could enjoy. The primary goal was to maximize the lake views with separate special spaces for various uses and activities, yet with an open concept for connection between rooms. They wanted a home that would stand the test of time and grow with the family. Traditional with a classic sensibility lead the design theme. A happy color palette of soft toned colors in blues, pinks, and turquoise - with a nod to lake living through patterns, and natural elements - provides a lived in and welcoming sense. It’s eclectic flair of polished sparkle finds balanced with rustic detailing that gives it a curated presentation with classic styling for the sense of a home that has always been there.
