“When we decided that our 1994 colonial style home needed an exterior facelift, my husband and myself were introduced to Christy Root Stregles. We made an appointment for her to visit with us about what we wanted and hoped to accomplish by doing our remodel. During the first meeting, we instantly connected. When I began listing and describing some of the exterior features that appealed to us, she gave it a name, It was the craftsman style bungalow that my husband and I both loved, and as it turned out, her own home was also a craftsman style. . As we talked, she truly listened to ensure she included all we wanted in our plan. In addition to just changing our overall look to craftsman, we also wanted to add a courtyard area, extend our front porch, and add a pergola so that we could have outdoor sitting area. . We made plans to change out windows, the garage door, and our front door as well. In addition, we requested that stacked rock be incorporated into the design and new exterior lighting that completed the craftsman look. Christy studied our current plans carefully and created an amazing design. From the minute we saw it, we were in love! She has continued to work on the design to tweak it in order for it to fit within our budget, We communicated often during this process. She sent me links on window options, lighting, paint colors, rock samples, and concrete options for our new courtyard area as well. She also invited me over to see her home and explained the elements that went into creating the style we wanted. Christy was always available and approachable. We feel so fortunate to have found her!”

“Richard Hunt just completed the build of our dream home and we couldn't be happier! It is EXACTLY how we envisioned and so much more. Richard listened to what we wanted and showed us so many ideas and options to choose from. He was on site daily to make sure that each project was being carried out accordingly. His trade guys were excellent too! He has such a vision and passion for this and it shows. This is our 2nd time to use Richard, he built us an outdoor kitchen at our previous home, and both experiences and outcomes were wonderful. We will definitely use him for any future project or build we may do. He's very easygoing and responsive which makes the building process much smoother. I would highly recommend Hunt Brothers Construction to anyone!”

“I want to tell everybody, I love this architect. My wife and I wanted to build an unusual house, and all we had was a photograph to go with. Greg met us at the building site and spent hours listening to us. The process was easy, and a lot of fun. I knew I had found the right architect with Greg , he was considerate and energetic to our unusual ideas. Greg is a creative genius, that pointed out ideas we would have never thought about. This design is very open and has structural and insulating challenges that were not difficult for Greg. His knowledge of earthquake building codes was helpful. He was available to listen to new ideas and changes that I would think up along the way. I wanted low maintenance and environmental friendly. I am so pleased with his work ! Greg's knowledge of building supplies impressed me. After the plan's were on paper we spent more hours talking everything over until we all were satisfied . His price was reasonable. Can't say enough good about East Star Design, I would like to do it all again.”
