“Chad remodeled our whole home. He took a jacuzzi room, paneled in cedar, and extended it past our deck, and adding a new deck beyond. He also dug under our old jacuzzi, making a full storage room and a downstairs library. The new family room has six skylights and twelve tall windows, so it's light and airy. Paneled in beautiful cedar, it's our favorite room. The downstairs has become a complete bedroom suite with a kitchen, library. and storage room. It's sufficient to say sixteen years later, we're still singing Chad's praises in both design and execution. He has our highest recommendation.”

“This was a substantial, whole-house remodel (keeping the same footprint) to make a very quirky, dark home on a gorgeous wooded hill into a light and airy rustic-modern home to live in the rest of my life. We went down the design and contractor path with a number of people (for a number of years) before finally coming back to Mark Hoerr and his architect/designer Seth Luginbuhl. I cannot say enough good things about the process with Mark and Seth that got us a final design. Now we are in the thick of the remodel, and cannot say enough good things about the carpenters and other tradespeople. They are extremely talented, diligent and hardworking, responsive and respectful, and all-around a pleasure to work with. I can't wait to upload finished photos around Christmas time, but will upload a few of the house in progress.”

“We wanted a first floor master bedroom and bathroom addition that was handicapped accessible. We had to build it around our septic system while still aligning so it flowed with the original home.The project turned out fabulous!! It is beautiful and roomy with the future ability, if needed, to accommodate a wheelchair or scooter.”

“I am a roof truss designer with 12 years of experience. I have worked with Ian Schroeder numerous time on many different houses in the Quad Cities over the past several years. My job as a truss designer is to provide a roof package that is built per the set of plans provided from the house/building designer. If those plans aren't accurate or if they are difficult to interpret, I could make a mistake on my end that can cost time and money to everyone involved in the project, sometimes even the home owner.
