“Neil Richardson. Nice gentleman, Experienced, Intelligent, and Listener. Our project from design to building completion unfolded beyond our expectations! The firm worked directly with our builder with any problems absolving us of the headaches. It was a pleasure to work with them. Did I mention that he LISTENs to the dreams and desires of the owner, while keeping with the theme and style of the project? Most important!”

“I live full-time in the tiny house on wheels Todd custom-designed for me for several years ago and absolutely love it! Todd worked closely with me in the design and building process and advised me on details I desired. He designs for efficiency and sources eco-friendly, non-toxic materials. With 11 windows, my home is airy, well lit and feels more spacious than its 22-foot length. Space is well designed and efficient. People are surprised that it is so comfortable and that my 2 active cats and dog are well accommodated. After seeing many other tiny houses by other builders, I highly recommend Todd Miller/Oregon Cottage Company over any others. The difference in quality and aesthetics really matter!”

“EXACTLY WHAT WE NEEDED! Ben designed an addition to our rural fire station which increased square footage about 25%. Our funds were limited and we were constrained by statute on how we could execute the project. After 3 years of trying to figure out how to make it happen, the fire board enlisted Ben's expertise to help move the project forward. He answered our questions, checked out our options, and negotiated the building contract. We weren't able to get everything we wanted, but we got what we desperately needed: a secure vehicle bay with good personnel access and sufficient space in an addition that blends in perfectly with the existing building. Ben dealt well with the various levels of construction experience of the board members. He provided a number of cost saving suggestions that were implemented in the final design. He responded promptly to emails and board questions and requests for status reports. He met with us at the site when requested. The fire board and the fire district residents are very happy with the new addition and we highly recommend his work.”
David Edrington, Architect

“We consulted David when we decided to update the bathroom in our 1930's home. The layout was such that when sitting in the living room , if the bathroom door was left open, the view was directly of the toilet...obviously not a good idea. David had the idea of moving the toilet into an adjacent under used closet to make a private space. He suggested removing a rarely used bath tub set in an alcove and creating a shower in another alcove that had been a vanity table. We followed his ideas and could not be happier with the result. He had wonderful ideas on new fixtures that kept the same look as the old. We purchased new tile that was very similar to the decaying tile that we found under the rotting linoleum. We were able to leave all the old features we loved- many arches in a small room- and make the space much more usable. His ability to look at a challenge with fresh eyes is remarkable.”
