Dinnes Studio

We had the best experience building our first home with Erica and Westin of Dinnes Studio. From start to finish, Westin gave us consistent updates on the progress of our house and kept lines of communication open. They were quick and thorough when responding to our questions and came up with creative solutions to our concerns. Not only are they professional and talented, but they also have an eye for design and incomparable attention to detail. If and when we build our second home, we know we can trust Erica and Westin to guide us. We cannot recommend Dinnes Studio enough!

Erica was wonderful! She listened to everything we wanted and communicated clearly and effectively. She really brought the design of our dream home to life. Our design was modern and different from most homes in the region, yet, she was up for the challenge. I would highly recommend working with her.

We have a vacation home in another state that had a very large room above a garage that wasn't well utilized. We engaged Dinnes Studio to design a remodel for the space to incorporate a new bedroom, en suite bath and bunk room. After discussing ideas, Erica and Westin produced a design that seamlessly meshed with the style of the rest of the home and created a unique hall-closet solution that maximized the utility of the entire set up. They also produced construction drawings for the GC in order to bid the job which was a first for him for a remodel! The solution Dinnes Studio created made this space infinitely more usable. We were so impressed with their work on the initial project that we hired them again for an extensive remodel of the rest of the home which included new front entry doors, the kitchen, living, dining, master bath update and a complete redesign of the lower level consisting of 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a steam room (a total of over 6000 square feet of work). Because we didn’t have the original house plans, Erica and Westin laser measured every space and produced a set of as-built floor plans. From there we were so excited to get “concept sketches” (in water-color!) & 3D visuals to help us get an idea of how the spaces might function. We had never see anything like this. It allowed us to “step into” the space and get a sense of the views and function! They finished with a 25 page set of “as-built” and construction plans that made the bidding process extremely efficient. We have not experienced such creative, professional and intentional architect services like this before. Their attention to detail and flexibility are truly exceptional and a rare find with such personal projects.

Working with Erica was the most enjoyable experience! It felt like she very intentionally took the time to get to know us and our tastes, so that when it came time to bring our ideas to life, she knocked it out of the park at every single step! She was enthusiastic, her designs were fresh and modern, and she was absolutely happy to incorporate our ideas, or invite us to challenge some of hers the whole way, even though we really only had a few minor inputs as she had most everything covered. We were so excited going into every meeting to see what she had come up with. The whole process was organized, professional, and every meeting ended with the next meeting scheduled so we knew exactly what the timeline was. The experience she brought to the table was very impressive and the focus she brought made us feel like we were her most important clients. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We not only had her design the entire structure and floor plan, but also the materials selection, and would recommend her and the Dinnes Studio to anyone!
