“We contracted with The Landscape Design Center to provide a consultation and subsequent installation of a full landscape lighting update. Although we already had landscape lighting in place for a number of years, as the trees and shrubs have grown we were feeling like the existing lighting did not accentuate the natural beauty of the property nor did it provide adequate path lighting on parts of the property. Our first step was to meet with a Landscape Designer from the Landscape Design Center. She was very knowledgeable with great and creative ideas..... Exactly what we needed. She not only designed the project but also managed the project from start to finish. She also coordinated with our electrician to ensure proper coordination with out Lutron System. In all aspects, she was outstanding! The installation itself was also outstanding. This was a complete makeover. So we expected the lawn and planting beds may be pretty torn up when the project was complete. We were surprised when that was not the case at all. All of the installation was done in a professional and clean manner. You can barely tell that we had any work done at all. The end result is amazing. The new lighting brings out all the best in the property. We can't wait until warmer weather when we spend more time outdoors and really get to enjoy it even more.”

“We have hired Laura for several jobs in our yard, including building a 3-section compost bin with removable slats, an enclosure for our vegetable garden, and a very large fence enclosure for our dogs. The projects were done a few years ago, and there has been no deterioration at all in the materials, even with the rather severe weather we have had. Laura was always punctual, communicated clearly with us, worked very hard for long days, and completed her work without requiring any supervision or additional instruction. She is careful to use materials that are environmentally safe. Her work is of the highest quality; even other contractors seeing her work have commented on how well done the projects have been.”

“Bailey's has provided lawn care services to us for a while and do a great job but we recently had them remove 7 large trees from our backyard and and do some additional clean up involving a large area of out of control ivy and they did a fantastic job with that as well. You would never even know the trees and ivy bank were there. Did an awesome job with the cleanup and haul away. I feel they are fair with their pricing and the people who work for them are very polite and courteous, including office staff. A pleasure to deal with them.”

“We hired Woodfield Landscaping to do an outdoor bar and a pizza oven. We have had many bad experiences with contractors over the years so we initially we hesitant to undertake such a big project at the house. Woodfield has renewed our faith that good contractors exist. They worked non stop from start to finish and even on Saturdays. The stone work was flawless and far more beautiful than I could ever hope for. The lightening at night is just remarkable. We received their name from a co-worker who had the exact same experience with a project even bigger than ours. Out if the dozen contractors we have had at the house over the years they are the only ones we would recommend.”

“We hired Bella Terra Landscapes to build a hardscape front patio on our home. The owner, Mike Schimmel, came to our home to give us an estimate and right away we were impressed with his presentation of ideas for the patio. He gave us a little background of his company and we were equally impressed with the fact that he and his staff, on a regular basis, keep their certifications current and attend classes in the field to always provide for new and innovative ideas and techniques. Mike sent a 4-man crew to our home and each member of that crew was dressed in uniform provided by Bella Terra. Mike would show up everyday at our home and discuss the plan for the day with the crew. Each guy knew their daily role and they hardly took break. Each member of the crew took pride in their work, checking and rechecking each move they made. The finished product was spectacular!! We have gotten so many compliments from neighbors on the job --- and we have given out the 8 business cards Mike left for us to neighbors who are now interested in having Bella Terra doing some work for them. Overall, Mike and Bella Terra Landscapes is a great company, with a great crew!! Mike was always available and returned our calls in a timely manner. You really get what you pay for with Bella Terra Landscapes. We highly recommend this company for any of your hardscape needs!! We would hire this company again in a heart beat!! “We contacted Pinehurst Landscaping Company about six months ago because we wanted to renovate previous landscaping that had been done after our home was built. Despite hiring a professional landscaping company, the trees and bushes that they planted were either too large or too small for the area. Instead of accentuating our new home, the landscaping interfered with the architecture of the house resulting in diminished curb appeal. You can imagine that it was with some trepidation when looking for another landscaping company. However, we had read prior positive reviews about Pinehurst Landscaping and decided to give them a try. Once we called we were immediately connected to Ted Carter who specializes in residential design. We explained our issues and what we were looking for. We scheduled a time that Ted would come and assess our landscaping. Ted sat down with us after surveying our plantings and pointed out the errors in the trees and other plantings that were chosen. After careful deliberation, Ted came up with a plan that fit our landscaping area. He chose plants and trees based on color, size, texture, and fragrance. Even if we didn’t care for a particular choice he had a backup suggestion. After we finalized our plan, we met him at the nursery where we were able to pick out our trees and shrubs. However, the true test was the end result. Ted and his crew arrived on time and completed the job in the time frame he had cited. We were thrilled with the end result. We received many compliments from our neighbors and guests and recommended Pinehurst without hesitation. The cost was reasonable and the quality of work was superb.
