“We met Ralph and Tim at the 2015 Home Expo show and after talking about our project we decided to include them among the bidders. While not the lowest bidder (which we tend to avoid for obvious reasons), we went with Artisan for their willingness to work with us and be flexible, along with being extremely helpful in helping us gain a better understanding of the Trex product. During the project their work team varied based on the weather, what work was needed here and on occasion what assistance was needed on other projects. Throughout the project Ralph, Tim and their team readily answered questions we raised, were responsive to our concerns, and helped us find the best approach for some specific concerns. At the end of the project we were very satisfied with the work Artisan had done. When afterwards we found a few teaks we wanted to make they came back, discussed the options and then made the small changes we were looking for. Tim even pointed us to Goof Off, a great product for removing the remnants of our own sloppy staining work on our old deck. When we ran into Tim at today's Home Expo show, he was quick to tell us his current thoughts on resolving a challenge that came up this winter with our pergola. It goes to show how customer oriented the Artisan folks are. Without hesitation we would recommend readers of this consider contacting them concerning any project that Artisan might be able to assist you with.”

“Affordable Concrete replaced a wooden step with a concrete one and resurfaced my front porch. The crew was courteous and efficient and they cleaned the work site before leaving. All communications with the company were professional and questions were answered in a timely fashion. “Woodrite replaced my badly warped and worn pressure treated deck and railings on my porch in July of 2015. It took a bit of discussion and back and forth to get the materials I wanted in the colors I wanted quoted. This was not a major issue as I knew the owner was preoccupied with some other issues at the time. We ultimately got the quote completed and the work executed. The craftsman that did the work was extremely methodical and very accurate. He kept me in the loop regarding every potential problem or issue that arose and got my approval regarding his plan to deal with it. He made sure the existing framing on the porch was sound and reinforced it where necessary. He installed composite decking and railings with the highest level of craftsmanship. The job was really excellently done. The carpenter did hurt his back and also had some trouble with his van in the middle of the job. This is not a major issue but it did take a couple of extra days to complete the work. That and the delay in getting the correct quote are the only reasons I gave the company a "4 star" review instead of five. But I will reiterate that these problems were unforeseen and not in the company's control - stuff happens. Overall the job was excellent and I would definitely use Woodrite again and recommend them to my friends.”
