“A few things to say about Barcci Builders and Bar. I never asked, but Bar was ALWAYS updating mewith day to day updates during the remodel. It was great! I felt so invested and learned so much about the remodeling business. They were great from the very beginning by sending us all the company info prior their arrival. Thank you Barcci !”

“First they came and give us an estimate that we really liked, we signed the contract to do the kitchen floors. Before they started the job I ask them to give me a price for the complete kitchen remodeling. again we liked the price and we signed the contract (BTW they helped us with financing the job). during the process we found out the electrical wiring needs to be replaced mike gave us very good price on that so we let them do it. they also gave us 3D design rendering that was great, we actually could see how the kitchen will look like.. Roy Mike and the team where very helpful they answered all of our concerns and even when we change things around they where very understanding and helped us to make our dream come true. we where very impressed when all city inspection pass at the first time. we love how our kitchen came out, it looks amazing like it came out of a catalog, its like living in a mention. we will use Baron construction again to do our roof in the in the near future. they did exactly what they promise and above. we are extremely happy that we choose Baron construction and remodeling to do our kitchen.”

“Shawn Aya of Aya Homes built the home that we bought. He built this house with a lot of quality in it. The workmanship was very good. The house has lot of upgrades that he put in the house. Some of the upgrades are 8 foot high insulated ceiling in the garage, a passive radon system, three-quarter inch stained solid wood floor, tray ceilings in all bedrooms, under kitchen cabinets LED lights, wider stairs to the basement, decora light switches to name a few. We built the house finished. Most of the upgrades he built into the house, we did not add them. We do not know anything about the project dates, costs, and deadlines.”

“Peters Design Build did a beautiful remodel of our three-story, three-unit traditional San Francisco property. The final design retained the original Edwardian lines, but with all the modern amenities (like, you know, lots of wall outlets and modern appliances). Ben and Andrew were always responsive, open, and courteous. They answered any questions I had, and gave a good idea of what to expect. They are totally professional and flexible. Some contractors seem like they do good work, but don't know how to run a business. Ben and Andrew do both. They have top quality craftsmanship, but also know how to manage expectations and build to our budget. I was pregnant at the time of the remodel, and they kept dust to a minimum, used non-toxic paints, and let me know when to make myself scarce if I wanted to avoid inhaling teratogenic substances. All in all, a fantastic experience. I highly recommend Ben and Andrew to everyone I know.”

“This was a residential renovation of and addition to an older house with good bones that had not been well maintained and had been subjected to several DIY projects that appeared to be beyond the capabilities of those who did them. Kurt's design solutions both suited our taste and were consistent with the original style and design of the house. In particular, he suggested a limited number of minor touches (pass throughs, moving a dividing wall) that quite cost effectively opened up the house and made it much more livable, but also was true to its original design and incorporated its positive features. His design of the new and expand master suite used existing elements to create a vastly improved layout. Kurt offered solutions that enabled us to obtain quick permitting. He supervised construction which was significantly closer to budget and on schedule than other neighborhood projects. He was very responsive when field conditions required adaptations to original plans, and devised solutions that kept costs increases of the project reasonable. He was a pleasure to work with and made what is often a very stressful process a very positive experience.”

“Kaeso Maas of Adventus Group has been helping us develop a vision for a large addition of a property we recently bought on Panoramic Highway in Mill Valley. While the actual work will not commence until a year from now Kaeso and his team were able to provide us with comfort that this is a property with endless possibilities to create a great living environment and add value for the long term. Ideas for typical California coastal living (we're only 15 minutes from Stinson Beach and can see the ocean from our house) and quintessential Mill Valley living were both explored. While there are a lot of architectural and design firms out there, Adventus Group really stands out to us for their creative thinking, responsiveness and broad experience in design and construction. We're looking forward to continue to work with Kaeso Maas when we get to the design and construction phase.”

“We had two problems to fix in our small condo, ligthing and more storage/organization space. In the first place, Ezra designed a great and functional solution for ligthing which made our place feel much larger, in addition to adding the light that it needed. In the second place, he designed and built a custom-made, floor to ceiling cabinet in our corridor, a beautiful piece of furniture that we use as a pantry and office storage, he even built in a convertible desk (a modern take on the secretary desk) as part of the cabinet piece. If you want a high quality job I truthfully recommend Ezra Wheeler Design for your next project.”
Stonepeak Property Group

“I'm completely shocked there are no reviews for Stonepeak Property Group yet. I'm honored to be the first, and feel regretful that we are all missing out. Why am I missing out too, you ask? Let me explain... I just started a kitchen remodel project in my high-rise condo. I have no hands-on experience with remodeling, though my family has done major remodels and even built a new house from scratch (that was probably the worst thing my family has ever gone through). I had no personal experience with hiring contractors and making decisions. So I dove in head first. Most people interview 5 contractors. I quickly realized 5 was not enough. I was still learning with the first 5, and some bids were wild. I did my due diligence and I interviewed 21 contractors. Yes, that is a lot. But many had to be quickly eliminated because they were unwilling to work with or had very little experience with working in a high-rise condo. It's not just the HOA, it's also a bunch of other things such as reserving an elevator, having a place to assemble, fabricate, and work, working clean, daily haul-away of debris, etc. I had to first narrow down a list of contractors that had experience with and no qualms with working in a high-rise. Stonepeak Property Group was one of those. I met with AJ Phuken, project manager, and he is one of the nicest, most friendly, and kind people ever. I would have selected him based on his personality alone. He was actually the second contractor who came to visit, when I was still very much a noob in what to say, what questions to ask, etc, but he was most patient and kind. My kitchen has some really annoyingly placed soffets, which make it difficult to use prefab cabinets from Sincere Home Decor, which had been my original intention when starting this project (btw, they get a fairly significant discount on cabinets there). AJ offered design service with his designer Ben, and he mentioned he would have access to semi-custom cabinets that could fit my place better. One difficult requirement I had for all contractors was that the doors had to be bamboo, and this is rare to find. You'd have to have special vendors you work with that have that. I had to eliminate many more companies as a result of them not having relationships with vendors who carried bamboo cabinetry. AJ offered me the most competitive and realistic bid out of all the contractors I interviewed, and I absolutely loved his work and project management style. I did end up choosing another company in the end only because they had access to bamboo cabinetry at wholesale and they also provided free design services, but I am 100% convinced that had I chosen to go with AJ, I would be totally confident in a job well done at a very reasonable cost. I would not hesitate to do my next project with AJ, which is probably a bathroom or bedroom remodel coming up at the end of this year or early next year. And I wholeheartedly recommend him and his construction company to any friends and neighbors who are looking to do some work, especially in a high-rise. I did my research very thoroughly and I hope this helps others in a similar living situation.”
