Because of Katlyn's strong and creative design sense and the Houzz app, everything went smoothly - from picking cabinets, tile, wall colors, granite and fixtures. “I hired this firm to do a full renovation of my family room, powder room and kitchen last summer. They did a great job. I live in a 1927 home that is the home I grew up in. The kitchen was last updated (except some cosmetic work) in 1961 when my parents bought the home. I wanted a functional kitchen that opened into the family room, while staying within the footprint of the home and keeping the same aesthetic of the rest of the house. To say that I am pleased is an understatement. The group was friendly, professional, fun, and gave me the end result that is more than I had hoped for. “BDS construction did an amazing job "bringing to life" a vision we had for our dining room. Customized beams (workers cut and assembled these outside in the middle of winter!), wainscoting and paint were included in our project. The workers were neat and very "perfectionistic" in their painting technique and in the care taken to keep our home clean while working on the project. It is now my favorite room in the house. in addition, we had immediate help in partially finishing our basement ( to separate play area from utilities) after a house fire. Our home has very low ceilings (home is over 100 years) and we thought we could never finish or partially finish the space. With a small space to work with, BDS framed and put up dry wall including three different types of custom doors to provide access to the furnace, laundry facilities and work space. BDS once again worked with our ideas offering many options design and price. Overall, the work was completed in neat and timely manner, communication was excellent, and the collaboration of ideas for our final design was great!”
