“The showroom is set up to show you what can go wrong with certain types of fireplace design. Very educational. We ordered our fireplace around the holidays so there was a delay, but the company was clear and honest about what to expect. (Tip: don't wait until November!) Overall I think prices were good compared to other places that we went to. Our unit was pretty basic, but these guys do a lot of high end projects too. The installation went well and was professional. My only concern which could make this a 4.5 star is that there was a gap on the right side of the unit where the unit met the floor (which is normal with the way houses settle), but they told us that we could fix that by adding caulking, and I felt that that should have been part of the installation process for a "completed" look. Perhaps they did not offer because the unit is unfinished oak, and we planned on staining the wood? Either way, very happy with overall purchase. The fireplace is the my favorite purchase of 2016.”

“Gas Tech installed a vent-free gas fireplace and log set in our home last year. After visiting their showroom, seeing what they had to offer and how they dealt with us, it was going to be quite obvious who we hired. We contracted for our fireplace installation at time of the estimate, which my wife and I thought was a fair price, had it installed and have been very happy with it. The installation went smoothly. They were exceptionally neat and clean with respect to our home. Very professional, personable, and knowledgeable of the gas fireplace industry and the products they have to offer. If the time should rise that I want another fireplace installed, we would not hesitate hiring Gas Tech again for another installation.”

“I spoke to Chris and Jon at Modern gas about a fireplace for my bedroom, Last year. My room Was freezing no matter what, so I figured I would see if I could get something for my small space. The guys from modern gas came to my home and helped me figure out the best type and style for my home. I am very particular about my decor and didn't want anything too big. I found the perfect size/type for the room and love how warm and cozy my bedroom has now become. The guys were friendly, professional and careful with my house. There were a lot of different styles I was tempted to choose but finally decided on a unit that will be encased in cabinetry. A project my husband insists he can do. The guys at modern said they could help with cabinets, ect, but hubby wants to try. Anyway, I was able to get what I wanted for a great price, which made hubby happy, the owners were super knowledgeable and easy to work with. “Hearth & Stove was recommended to me by a friend. I moved into my home about three years ago and it was my first experience with a fireplace. Because I was not sure about the condition of the fireplace I called Hearth & Stove to inspect and if necessary service. The worker arived on time and was very courteous and professional. He completed a thorough inspection and told me that my system was very clean and did not need any service at this time. The inspection was free. This worker could have easily taken advantage of my ignorance and anxiety but he was honest and forthright about the condition of my fireplace. Hearth & Stove came highly recommended. They are courteous and professional and from this day forward the only company I will call for my fireplace needs.”
