“They just completed a beautiful design project in my home which included my dining room, family room and kids rooms. It all looks better than I ever could have imagined. The designer was so amazing helping me with floor plans, fabrics, wall colors, lighting and just the whole flow... even helping me figure out what style best works for me and the way I live. “We couldn't be happier with our pieces from Northeast Furniture Studio. Our wooden dining room table is a masterpiece, and is the topic of conversation for everyone who enters our house. It is complemented with a wooden bench (that our kids love) with detailed metal decorative bracing that gives it a rustic look. The company worked with us to create exactly what we wanted, and we highly recommend their service. In addition, we have a wooden rocking chair made by Northeast Furniture Studio that is handcrafted. We have spent countless hours in it and we feel it makes the perfect gift for expecting parents! We also have their wooden tray that adds a rustic touch to our kitchen, and a vintage looking ski sign that sets a nostalgic feel to our living room. We will definitely use Northeast Furniture Studio again, and we highly recommend their expert craftsmanship.”

“Hundred Mile was truly a one stop shop! With my help, we designed my dream living room, settled payment , and it was the couple Josh and Kristina who delivered the custom products from Italy and Spain to my house. Besides doing large scale work with them, I have also bought a number of their accessories at their retail shop in Rhinebeck. They are very personable, know about their products. It is impossible to see everything they sell based on the scope of their manufacturers, but they can definitely help you with your modern furniture, accessory etc needs.”

“This was a great experience and the quality of work is excellent. We were in communication throughout the entire project. Response time was almost immediate when I had any questions. I got exactly what I wanted and it was as expensive as mass produced furniture from any furniture store. You can customize to your hearts content and the turnaround for custom furniture was very reasonable. Overall I would recommend to everyone able to invest in a piece of forever furniture.”

“Michael is a gifted artisan. Our dining chairs, from my wife's grandmother, had once featured immensely intricate woodworking on their backs--tiny pieces of mahogany crisscrossing and curving every which way, with an unusual finish. Over the decades, despite the obvious high quality of the craftsmanship in their original construction, these backs had slowly been destroyed by generations of children hanging on them, bashing them with bats, etc. We showed Michael a picture of one of the intact chairs, and handed him our three broken chairs, along with a bag of some of the little pieces of wood that had fallen off over the years. The wood we provided was clearly insufficient to bring the chairs back to their proper state. Michael managed to re-create these elaborate backs, seamlessly working in reproduction pieces of wood he somehow fashioned in his workshop. Michael matched the finish and design from the original so well that I cannot tell the difference between the reproduction and original portions of my chairs. Several years on, they’re still in perfect condition. He’s also done some similarly impressive work on badly damaged fine antique furniture for my father-in-law. His pricing isn’t cheap, but you’re paying for old world quality craftsmanship. If you have fine antique furniture in need of repair and appreciate finely done work, it’s worth it to have the work done properly. The accompanying pictures are before and after of one of the chairs.”
