“I hired Fitzgerald Construction via a word-of-mouth recommendation from good friends who had used them. My home was built in 1946, and the sole bathroom was in poor shape and I'd always wanted to renovate and redesign it. In addition, there were several loosely related issues relating to structure I wanted to address, including an exterior wall that had some plaster issues and needed to be shored up and a window on that same wall that I wanted moved. Fitzgerald Construction developed a plan to address all of it and provided enough flexibllity so that with the big decisions out of the way up front, as they started work on the bathroom they could present smaller decisions to me as needed and I could finalize details step by step. This worked really well, and I was able to keep tabs on their progress and keep shaping how the design was shaping up even while living away from the work site. I don't think the job would have worked out as it did were it not for that tight communication loop. Fitzgerald Construction did an incredible job from start to finish. This was my first home renovation project, and they served as facilitators throughout the process, helping me consider and evaluate options, solidify my vision for the design, and anticipating issues and challenges and bringing them to me before they arose. This included everything from selecting hardware and materials, to placing and sizing the window, to how to address the inevitable older home structural and functional issues that came up as we uncovered some of the house guts. Their counsel and advice, workmanship, process, client service, and commitment to my satisfaction were all impeccable. I am tremendously proud of the bathroom and all of the decisions they helped me make along the way turned out to be the right ones, without exception.”

Their estimate covered what we had discussed, which was a new wood deck and stone patio beyond. Frank and his team envisioned and built a better deck than anything in my dreams. “Tom came recommended to us by Renewal. After meeting with Tom and getting other estimates, we decided he was the one for the job. We were adding a screen porch and deck to our 1925 house and we felt Tom understood our vision. He dispelled any concerns we had due to our sloping yard and drainage problems.His crew graded and added drainage, removed a stone wall and built the porch into the slope in such a way that works very satisfactorily. I really had no idea what an improvement it would be.Tom was available by text or email or phone through out the whenever we had questions. He kept us up to date with the City of Atlanta permitting process and the inspection process.When the permits were recieved the work began almost immediately.The craftsmanship of his workers is of the highest quality and his crew were very diligent and showed good work ethic. Once the work got under way they were here every day.I can't say enough about how pleased we were to work with Tom on this project. We would recommend him to anyone looking to renovate. He is highly principled and the experience was a very good one.”
