“We have a very positive experience with hiring Green Avenues to complete retrofit and plumbing work at hour home. As part of the process of the Earthquake Brace and Bolt (EBB) program that we had been able to qualify for, we had to get a certain number of bids. A few contractors gave bids that seemed to indicate they didn't really want the job, while other companies gave more competitive bids. However, we liked that Green Avenues had already completed other EBB work. There were some scheduling issues with the inspector, which we believe was on the city's part considering the same inspector showed up a week before to inspect electrical work that had not been completed at our home, but the inspection itself went smoothly. All the staff was friendly and professional, and the plumber they brought in to complete some additional projects did a nice job with installing an emergency gas shut off valve, as well as replacing the hoses and attaching a vent for our water heater. We would definitely recommending making Green Avenues one of the companies you call for EBB work, as well as other odd jobs around your home.”

“All About Home Improvement is right! The gentlemen over at AAHI took care of a roofing and solar project for me with diligence and great care for my property. Everything was left clean my roof was about 15 years old and started leaking I’ve worked with other companies for roofing and there was always a slight hiccup either in the cleaning or customer service but absolutely no complaints here. No even checked my water pressure and gave me recommendations on green upgrades to my home to save on my gas and water bills. Highly recommend this company!”

“I wanted a new kitchen design in my Beverly Hills Condo. The current version was pretty up to date but I do a lot of cooking and wanted a multi-surface counter top for easier clean up. I found GoodFellas because my neighbors were working with them and they did an impeccable job. They were able to come in for a walk though and I signed up right away because I was itching for a new kitchen. The project manager Ran stopped by with many samples of countertops and walked me through the pros and cons of all of them. We used two different materials throughout the kitchen to be compatible with my constant baking and easy clean up. I had to go out of town during part of the remodel due to an emergency but Ran sent me updates and pictures the entire time. They really care about building strong relationships and do a great quality job.”

“We received several quotes from contractors, some of whom tried to up sell or told us we couldn't do what we had envisioned and would need a completely different floor plan. But most were very pleasant and 3 came in at approximately the same bid price of 48,000. In the end, we chose IND Construction because we liked David and believed he would do what he said he would do. In the beginning David told us the job would take between 2 and 4 months to complete and it ended up taking a little over 2 months. Their were a few glitches along the way, such as finding that the wall we knocked out was in fact a retaining wall after the engineer had said that it wasn't. Or when a member of one work crew knocked our driveway gate out of the wall and just propped it back up without telling us. But as soon as any problem was encountered David had it fixed immediately, including figuring out how to put a giant beam across our ceiling to replace the retaining wall at no extra charge. Living in a construction zone for 2 months is never pleasant but the majority of subcontractors used by IND are very professional, clean and friendly. This made the experience better than expected. We would definitely work with David and his team again and we are very pleased with how well everything turned out.”

“My new bathroom is amazing! We called Tulip to tear out our old tub and build us a custom shower. Owen helped us design the shower, and shopped with us for all the materials. We got a nice hardwood floating vanity, with a white porcelain countertop, and gorgeous mosaic tile for the shower. We put in a bench, and a shampoo niche (something I've always wanted to replace those old soap dishes). We also replaced the old light fixture for recessed LEDs and one of those vanity mirrors with the lights in it. My partner and I are so happy with the outcome.”
