“Sean of Emerald Hardwood Floors completely refinished the floors of three bedrooms, the hallway, and stairs of the upper level of our home. The floors were in terrible shape and had been covered with wall to wall for years. Lots of paint along the edges from painting the base moldings and water marks, nail holes etc, were everywhere. Sean did an absolutely beautiful job of sanding and filling holes etc. He got all the paint off near the edges with no damage to the freshly painting base moldings. I was amazed how good they looked after just the sanding. I was having a hard time deciding on a stain color and Sean was extremely patient with my decision making process, showing me several possibilities and then some more when I changed my mind again! Color came out absolutely beautiful and was followed by four coats of polyurethane. My floor and steps look amazing. He will be coming back to put new treads on another set of steps and matching stained risers on all my steps. I would not hesitate to hire him again and am thankful to have found such an expert and careful contractor.”
