“Dave and his team did an excellent job for us. His great service started with a detailed walk-through of flooring options in San Rafael at the Sunshine office. We opted to match and extend our current floors instead of replacing our floors. Sunshine was the only company able to find a match to our current floors, since we have floors with an antique width from the 1940s. Even so, they had to do a fair amount of custom work on our floors including custom ripping some of the boards to a manual width. The work was all done very well, as well as on time and on budget. We love our new floors. Dave has high integrity, as well as being personable and friendly. I heartily recommend him.”

From the day we walked into their showroom until the day the work was completed, we dealt with pleasant, skillful, professional people who communicated with us regularly throughout the project. Susan stayed on top of the project throughout, informing us of the work schedules, schedules that were always met. The installers were pleasant, skillful, and thorough. “Herb did an absolutely fantastic job installing my high quality flooring, underlayment, and baseboards. He was super respectful of my recent new front door, painted walls and over all improvements from other trades, which I really appreciated. He was easy to work with, on time, provided excellent communication, with a very reasonable price. He came highly recommended to me from the flooring/tile shop we used to order all our quartz, tile and laminate from. On top of all that, he is just a nice person with a good work ethic. He treated my home as his own. Do not hesitate to call him. He is the 5th contractor we have had at our house in the last 5 months, and he was hands down better than all the others, whom I vetted meticulously. We do construction work ourselves, so we have pretty high standards for tidy, well done work. He will not disappoint.”

“David and his crew are awesome! We purchased a 1920's house with original hardwood floors, which were in pretty bad shape. David's crew ripped up several areas of the floor that were really soft and replaced the subfloor and then replaced the hardwood. He also sealed up a basement entrance. It all looks seamless! The floors are beautiful, exactly what I wanted; a matte finish with no yellow tint. To add to it, he is very responsive and shows up when he says he will and does what he says he will do. His prices are also very competitive. I've worked with a lot of contractors and trades in the last 3 years and there are very few that I would actually recommend to anyone, but David is one of the few.”

“After having interviewed three other flooring contractors (a lot of questionable characters out there) to refinish 450sf of bamboo flooring in my loft / office, I almost gave up hope. Then when I met John at Restore Your Floor it was like a breath of fresh air. John was extremely courteous and professional and took his time with me explaining exactly what I would be getting for my money. Plain and simple, he made me feel comfortable and I felt that I could trust his work. My feelings were correct. John and his helper showed up on time and finished according to schedule. I was literally amazed at how incredible the floors looked when they were done. They look like brand new floors! My clients that come to my loft were amazed too and now it feels great to bring people in and hear their reactions when they see my new floors. Thanks John!”
