“Dave and his team did an excellent job for us. His great service started with a detailed walk-through of flooring options in San Rafael at the Sunshine office. We opted to match and extend our current floors instead of replacing our floors. Sunshine was the only company able to find a match to our current floors, since we have floors with an antique width from the 1940s. Even so, they had to do a fair amount of custom work on our floors including custom ripping some of the boards to a manual width. The work was all done very well, as well as on time and on budget. We love our new floors. Dave has high integrity, as well as being personable and friendly. I heartily recommend him.”

“Abbey Flooring of Elk Grove has been doing work with my family for many years. When it was time for me to upgrade my flooring, it was a very easy decision. Spike and his crew are a team of professionals from helping pick out the right flooring, to getting an accurate estimate, and finally the installation. Their pricing is extremely competitive and Spike was willing to work with me to complete my project within the allotted budget. Spike was involved throughout the project and checked in during the install. The way he managed my project was top notch. Sam the installer was a true craftsman that kept the job site clean. There were some tricky areas to the install that he developed good clean solutions. I couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome. Now having lived with the floors for over a year I am still happy with the choice. Visitors always notice and give compliments. If you are looking for new floors from tile to wood to carpet, Abbey Floors should be your first choice.”

“A beautiful floor A pleasure to work with this company, our bamboo floor is beautiful and well priced compared to other Marin flooring companies. “David and his crew are awesome! We purchased a 1920's house with original hardwood floors, which were in pretty bad shape. David's crew ripped up several areas of the floor that were really soft and replaced the subfloor and then replaced the hardwood. He also sealed up a basement entrance. It all looks seamless! The floors are beautiful, exactly what I wanted; a matte finish with no yellow tint. To add to it, he is very responsive and shows up when he says he will and does what he says he will do. His prices are also very competitive. I've worked with a lot of contractors and trades in the last 3 years and there are very few that I would actually recommend to anyone, but David is one of the few.”

“Personal, knowledgeable and great to work with. It was my first time picking carpet (a daunting task!) and Triss held my hand from start to finish. She helped me pick out the ideal carpet and came back after the install to do minor touch ups to make everything perfect. Most notably the installers at Carters Flooring were able to update my 1964 concrete indoor floating staircase by encasing them in beautiful carpet - super labor intensive as each stair had to be individually wrapped. No more dangerous corners for my little ones and I am thrilled how everything turned out! Two thumbs up!”
