“Cameo Homes has recently built our home. The company is run by three bothers and a father. We are building a custom home so it has been a process. They are always available when needed. They have lined thereselves with excellent subcontractors. There building standards are very strict. We designed a home that is different from other houses they have built. We have faced some challenges, but in the end we have a marvelous home. They are very knowledgeable on the entire building process. They have been in business for years and built many homes in the North Salt Lake area, and Park City. A custom home can be difficult to build because it is hard to define budgets completely because of all the customer selections. We were over budget so when building a custom home communication is the most important part of building a home.”

“We contracted with this builder to build our dream retirement home. This was our first experience in building a home. The experience was very stressful. We were very satisfied with the quality of the work and the professionalism of all the staff. I would have to say our biggest complaint was the sometimes lack of communication between the general contractor and the office staff. We were encouraged to find plumbing, lighting and appliances on our own if we wanted to. Often this did not work with the sub-contractors as the brand of plumbing valves installed were different then the plumbing fixtures themselves. We felt after the fact that this builder does not specialize in building custom homes, but rather is adept at customizing their own build designs. In other words if you want to customize one of their spec homes, no problem. If you want to provide your own design from ground up, they are less experienced. Over all we are very satisfied with our home. I can tell you that the two main contacts in the office are generally concerned that you are completely satisfied. They will fight to make everything right. The general contractor was ALWAYS willing to make changes to make us happy, but we were not always informed of the cost to us. Deadlines were not always met, but budgets were monitored very closely.”
