Description Of Work: Potter House Group built my custom home on the site of of my previous home which was destroyed by fire. Member Comments: ,After interviewing several well-known custom builders (several of whom advertise "custom homes on your lot") we were fortunate to have been given the name Potter House Group. The President of Potter House Group met with us personally and we presented him with a situation that other custom builders who wanted to charge us up to 50% more than Potter House Group. Our situation was that lightning struck our custom home and it had to be razed with the exception of the concrete foundation and garage floor. After an initial meeting to review our plans, site, special conditions and consideration for the level of input we desired, Lee calculated an estimate that was realistic, detailed and SIGNIFICANTLY less than the other big name builders we interviewed. Rebuilding a new custom home in our Township involved a maze of obstacles and required significant expertise in dealing with permits, blueprints, township meetings, neighbors, rules and of course building inspections and sub-contractors. Lee navigated all the obstacles with expertise and professionalism. With the help of Potter House Group and its President, Lee M. Rickey, we moved into our home that met more than all of our requirements due to the knowledge and integrity of our builder. No substandard materials or workmanship was allowed, the process was professionally monitored and we now have the home of our dreams without breaking the bank! We highly recommend Potter House Group and Lee M. Rickey to anyone interested in honesty, timeliness, quality, professionalism and integrity. You cannot go wrong with Potter House Group and its owner Lee M. Rickey.”

From the preparation of the initial tear down to the final key handover, Ranjit and his team connects with you to ensure a custom build which fully suits your desires. Their goal is to deliver superior partnership, quality, and satisfaction. Starting from the conceptual discussions, Ranjit seeks to understand your vision for your new home. He spends the 1st few meetings really getting a solid idea of what you want to create while conveying a practical, straightforward estimation of what costs and timings will likely be. He doesn’t have hidden fees and is very open in his communications about pricing helps and hurts. Once you’re both on the same page regarding a plan for moving forward, he wastes no time in getting his resources scheduled. Even when unforeseen events, such as the extremely harsh winter in 2013, Ranjit simply adjusted the schedule to ensure that work was done only when the best results could be attained. He did not rush his team and he kept in regular contact with us to make sure we were aware of and in alignment with the progress plan. All of his exterior teams were very professional and did an excellent job. The excavation, foundation build, framing, and sub-flooring proceeded very smoothly. The workers were careful and courteous. They answered any relevant questions and made sure the work site was kept in good construction condition. Ranjit frequently visited the site and encouraged us to do so as well. These visits enabled us to keep a pulse on the progress and to see first hand the quality of the work. Ranjit met regularly with us to ensure the home was developing as we envisioned it. When changes were needed, he endeavored to get them done with no rework involved. This practice kept costs down as well as allowed the home build process to proceed without delays. He introduced us to his construction team members as they began their segments so we knew them and could talk with them when required. The interior teams were also great and paid attention to detail as they were doing their areas. They took any changes in stride and focused on delivering quality in a timely manner. We were consulted in any significant questions and they also provided really useful advice when asked. Again Ranjit was very involved throughout the process to keep the work going at a good pace. After key turnover, Ranjit and his team were just as diligent in completing any ‘punch list’ final items we noted. They even found some we had missed and got them done. Net we would strongly recommend Copper Creek Homes to anyone and I actually did. My friend’s home should be complete in a few months and he is very happy as well."”
