“Bret Franks built a beautiful home for us in Chenal neighborhood. We had moved from out of state and were living in an apartment while we looked at pre-owned homes. Not finding what we wanted in a pre-owned home we decided to investigate building our own. We did not have any experience in building a home and were accordingly nervous because we had heard this could be stressful and possibly problem filled. We first met Bret because he owned the lot we were interested in. Bret then showed us a few other neighborhoods and some houses he had built previously and some that were in progress. We loved the work Bret did, his obvious experience and the quality we were seeing and decided to both buy the lot from Bret and have him build us our custom designed home. Bret then introduced us to his wife Jen who would coordinate all of the selections we need to make (colors, designs, cabinets etc..) and coordinate the finances and approvals. Bret helped us get a designer who made the architectural drawings as well. We then proceeded with the construction phase. Bret was a true professional who is very hands on with the building process. He hires quality sub contractors and manages this closely every step of the way. He always took time to clearly explain a process and answer any questions we had. Jen was patient with us, provided options for us and helped us make choices when we asked. Both Bret and Jen clearly documented every detail of the house, the selections, the costs etc... There was a clear and organized approval process every step of they way and they helped us stay on budget. The house was easy to stay within budget because Bret and Jen took the time upfront to understand our desires and quoted the project accordingly. When we would go to make choices we would find we had ample allowances to get what we wanted in quality and looks. We have now been in the house almost 3 years and only called Bret 2 or 3 times after we moved in. All our calls were answered immediately and Bret would send someone over to take care of the issue. I can write all day about how much of a pleasure this was building a home and working with Jen and Bret, and how pleased we are with the final outcome. We LOVE our home and I wouldn't ever have any one else build another one than the Franks.”

“Scott has the perfect personality, demeanor, interpersonal skills, and design intelligence to manage your house building project. We are in the final phases of our house build, and we have been a pretty high-maintenance customer for sure. We have had an unusually high level of involvement in our project, stopping at the site multiple times a week for hours on end. Scott has always taken the time to address our concerns and waited patiently as we debated the minor differences in trim styles, for example. LOL! We have had some pretty particular requests for our house design, and Scott just always says, “Just send me a photo and we’ll make it happen.” His common sense approach, practical problem solving skills, and work ethic are what have made this project move forward when it could’ve stalled. Because we have been at the work site very often and for long periods, we have gotten to see the quality of the work and how Scott interacts with the contractors he hires. He is respectful but has high expectations and isn’t afraid to ask a contractor to re-do something that isn’t up to snuff. Scott values doing things *right* above self preservation, which is refreshing in this industry! At the same time, I feel like he is fair to all parties involved. What I value most is I haven’t EVER felt that I had to question Scott and Amanda’s motives and integrity. Truth be told, we have gone to church with them for years, so we had the benefit of knowing them as friends before hiring them. Their impeccable ethics and honesty were the main reasons why we hired them to build our dream home. We simply couldn’t hire someone to take on such an important and expensive project who hadn’t first earned our trust. Scott and Amanda, please accept a huge thanks from our family. You have made this process enjoyable and low-stress. Thank you for taking such good care of our family!”
