“This is the third house we have built and it was by far the smoothest process! Great quality for the money. Everyone was friendly, courteous, punctual. Whenever we had a question, we got a response almost immediately. We have been in the house a couple of months now, and with every new built there will always be some things that have to be tweaked, so far they were fairly minor, but I feel lucky that they have a great 'after-care' program. Over all I would have to say our experience was very positive!”

His knowledge and skill for understanding framing, electrical, finishing, and attention to detail impressed my husband and I. It is rare to find a builder who truly knows how to build quality, well-designed homes. I cannot speak highly enough about our positive experience. I only wish we would have found him sooner, we would have loved for him to have designed and built our entire home. Nelson Builders are different than any other builder because they don't skip on quality and there truly is such close attention to detail. They were able fix and transform our home into what we always wanted. We are so thankful for Matt's help in fixing our entryway! Bob is a "hands on" builder, always working on site, supervising his subcontractors, assuring his high standards are never compromised. Most importantly, I can still call Bob today and he will take the time to offer help and support. We have since used Bob for adding a home theater and mud room, and we just finished a major deck/patio addition in 2017 that Bob spearheaded. “I can't say enough nice things about working with Jeff and his wife Kelly on making our dream home a reality. We were very reluctant to build from scratch because we had good friends that went with a larger builder in Champaign that just kept passing them off to different crew foremen throughout the whole process. They actually never met the real owner. I appreciated the fact that we only had to deal with Jeff from beginning to end.
