His talents as a designer and hands on builder are remarkable. His versatility in his abilities to design and build traditional homes as well as more modern-style homes of every size is impressive. I am convinced he can do anything! I found Dave to be patient, kind and trustworthy. He was always willing to hear design ideas and take things out of the box when I wanted to while keeping me within the box when I needed to. He only uses respectful and skillful crew memebers that appear to be loyal to him and admired by them.. “Mccleary Building is very professional and knowledgeable contractor. I now have 2 houses built by Matt on the ocean and they are holding up very well. One of them he had built and we bought it after it was completed and the other we built from scratch with Matt. I know on both houses Matt would stand behind any issues we would have but the good news is that in 6 years we have had no issues. The second house had a lot of unusual design issues to deal with and Matt was able to easily work through all of them. If your looking for a great builder and nice people to work with this is the company to go with.”

“Codere Construction is the epitomy of both professionalism and work excellence. I have always been impressed with the effort plus workmanship of this company, no matter how small the task. When my house suffered water damage as a result of roof leakage, the interior job site was left in immaculate condition and superior work was completed on time. My out of state inquiries were answered the same day. Codere Construction was able to save me a lot of money by reusing the bead board affected rather than purchasing new material. Codere and his crew are are very respectful with fun personalities that make them easy to have working in your home.”

From the rough construction to the detailed finish work, we found the MCB craftsmen to be highly skilled and able to handle the complex design work flawlessly. Their talent is evident in the details of both the exterior and interior, showcasing expansive cathedral ceilings with inverted recesses. A hand-constructed staircase, built in cabinetry, window seats and mantles, all were fabricated with care & precision. Jeff Jones supervised the construction, coordinating the various craftsmen and kept within the planned timeline. “As a real estate professional, it isn’t uncommon to walk through a property that you wish was yours... This is exactly what happened to me the day I walked through one of Brush and Hammer Builders spec homes in Portland, Maine. I quickly brought my husband back, and with little convincing we quickly signed a contract to hire them as our builders to make this dream a reality. One of the first things that stood out to me about Anthony and Adam was their attention to detail and passion for their craft. I was completely floored by their selection of finishes, carpentry and ability to work with you to ensure they were creating the space you envisioned. In my case... this was an open kitchen design with lots of storage, and a walk-in butlers pantry with a counter top and floating shelving. While my husband didn’t think it could happen, they proved otherwise, and have created a space for me with beautiful, high quality cabinetry, custom navy island end panels, and the pantry exactly as I imagined. Anthony and Adam have experience in design, are organized, wonderful communicators, and have a fantastic process that results in an incredible product. If you are considering building a home, or looking to them for kitchen design, I would encourage you to set up a meeting today.
