“We hired ESG Construction for one reason - Ed Gard. He built us a retirement home we will forever be proud of and he did it within our budget and explained every cost - pro and con. You will not find a more reliable, honest contractor anywhere else. He listened to what we wanted and built us a true custom home! Want more electrical outlets? No problem. Want your kitchen in the front of the house? No problem. Whatever we asked for he found a way to make it happen and if it just wasn’t feasible (cost wise or construction wise) he explained the reasons. He is honest to a fault and just an all around good guy. We have recommended him to several people and are so pleased with our home. “Over the past 2 years, we’ve been involved with Loch Builders and their architect Ron Gibson, in replicating a costal style 1930’s revival period house. Very pleased with the architect’s rigorous design, and just as much with how smoothly and timely the builder has worked with Deer Island’s HOA and strict architectural review committee (design plan approval), Lake County’s permitting (unifying two lots to minimize setback issues, and Florida’s St. John’s Water District Commission (drainage setbacks within the conservation land). The team work and professionalism has saved us needless stress, time and money. Furthermore, during the COVID pandemic, when labor and material costs skyrocketed, the builder worked with us to come up with creative ways to offset material costs (ie. wood vs. Hardi-board and window manufacturers), which has help keep the project on-budget. As a discerning (yet realistic and reasonable) client, Loch’s integrity continues to shine through all aspects of their services. Thus, we’re looking forward in having a successful build thanks to a mutually respectful and trusting builder-client relationship.”
