“This is the first house we have built from scratch. Allen could not have been more professional, helpful, and above all patient. From day one till now, about 70% complete, Allen has been extremely easy to work with. While he doesn't spoon feed us, he will give his honest opinion if he thinks we might be making a mistake. He has been very easy to contact, gets back to us immediately, posts pictures of the progress (very handy for us since we live several hours away) and answers each and every question regardless of how moronic they may be. The quality of materials and the workmanship are both top notch. He has set and maintained a tight schedule while keeping us apprised the entire time. I would recommend Allen to anyone looking for a great building experience.”

“After viewing their model home during the parade of homes and liking the quality of that house, we decided to pursue having Finmark Construction build a new house for us. They were very good to work with in getting the design we wanted and a floor plan that would work for us. We had very few small problems arise during construction that were corrected immediately. They were very accommodating in making some slight changes as the construction progressed and we saw some things we wanted to alter. There was an excellent line of communication through all phases of design, layout and construction. We are very happy with the finished house and should we ever decide to build again, Finmark Construction would be our first choice. I really wanted to give them five stars for the overall project, but since we moved in it has been difficult to get the little things that need attention taken care of. I know they are in the middle of a very busy season and not the least bit upset about it.”

“We chose Glimm Homes to build our new home after interviewing a handful of builders in our area. Of those interviewed, Carl and Amy Glimm were the most professional. They were friendly, patient, and great listeners. They provided detailed feedback on the ideas we had in mind and offered advice when asked, which was especially helpful to us as first time home builders. Carl's background includes commercial and premium residential construction, and although we were just building a basic home, we wanted the quality and attention to detail we saw in his previous projects. Our home is nearing completion, and we couldn't be happier with the process so far. Carl and his crew have been a joy to work with. They arrive early and stay late if necessary.
