“This was our first house building experience and we absolutely hit the jackpot working with Lexar, specifically, Toby and Melissa. Both were extremely thoughtful throughout the entire build. They were truly invested in us being happy with the finished product and helped us envision how our decisions would impact usability, convenience, and overall look. When we wanted to make customizations or upgrades on things that were important to us, they made practical recommendations as to how we could cut back elsewhere to stay closer to our original budget. Communication: The entire team was extremely quick to respond, and always did exactly what they said they were going to do on the timelines promised. If there was a delay or change, we were always notified. When questions came up, Toby and Melissa were very thorough in their response when we needed clarification. Most importantly, they were very transparent, always advocating for the best possible option even if it didn’t benefit them directly. Third Party Contractors: Lexar hires topnotch third-party contractors. Every tradesperson or company that we interacted with were extremely knowledgeable, making our decision-making process easier. Toby is always on-site overseeing any third-party workers, so we never worried about people being in our home unsupervised. Quality: The materials used in the build are very high quality. Having just watched our parents go through a build with another company, we can attest to the durability and excellent quality of the building materials. We are extremely happy with the final product and there isn’t a single thing that we would go back and change. Attention to Detail: Throughout the entirety of the build, Melissa was always very on top of managing every little detail – even down to light dimmers and outlet placement. When it came time for us to do the final walk through, Toby and Melissa paid very close attention to minor details. They even spotted things that needed to be fixed that we may not have noticed. Follow-Up: We are amazed by how involved Toby and Melissa have been AFTER the build was completed. We have now been in our home for about three months and the follow-up has been very timely and completed accurately. They have come back to fix small things that we would have had to hire someone to do otherwise. Not only is that convenient, it has saved us time and money. Perks: We felt very ‘in the know’ throughout the process. Lexar even uses an app that allows them to post progress photos. This was extremely exciting for us to be able to see the progression of the build. It also assured us that everything was going as planned. We weren’t expecting it, but we also received a very thoughtful (and generous!) housewarming gift from Lexar upon getting keys to our new home. Finally, it’s always nice to work with people you like. Toby and Melissa were just downright cool and fun to be around. We will definitely use them again!”
