“After deciding to expand and remodel our kitchen, we were stuck in a holding pattern. No novice to the business of renovation, I was understandably wary and didn’t know how to go about finding a reputable contractor, or even if we could accomplish our goals within our budget. That’s when I met Lindsay Fox of TiverBuilt. The time I spent upfront with Lindsay and her team was invaluable. She found an architect and assisted us in coming up with a workable design based on our needs. This was an investment I don’t regret. It meant that once we had buildable drawings and a computer-generated design to help me envision what it would look like, TiverBuilt was able to provide a detailed breakdown of estimated costs. This gave us the confidence to know we could move forward, and in the end, this process assured that there were few, if any surprises. After finding a contractor, we agreed on a realistic timeline, where construction goals were met within a realistic timeline. I would not have known to ask for any of the above without the guidance that TiverBuilt provided. It was a lot of work, but worth the time spent. When we actually broke ground, I felt I could relax, knowing I was in good hands! One of the most valuable aspects of TiverBuilt's service was that Lindsay and her team took the time to understand my personal style and vision. They never tried to “sell” me on anything. Instead, they educated me so that I could make informed choices. There were many times throughout the project when I felt overwhelmed by the number of decisions that needed to be made, and they were always willing and availabe to get me through the rough patches. Invariably, in any project of this magnitude, unforeseen things come-up which require problem solving and resolution. In our case, there was a structural issue that had to be dealt with and resolved quickly. Lindsay was immediately on top of it, marshaling the team, including the architect and contractor, to resolve the problem to our satisfaction. Now I have a kitchen I love. TiverBuilt’s team helped me realize this dream. I highly recommend them and the customized services they provide.”

She devoted quite a bit of time to our visit, helping us to plan every detail of our furniture and placement in our home. Jared went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase. He was very accommodating, and even arranged dinner for us while we continued working, as we hadn’t eaten all day! I can say hands down that I have never experienced customer service like this, and I most certainly will be returning for future purchases. Would highly recommend; it was more than worth the 2.5 hour drive!”

“Karen Hill changed the entire feel of our home, and allowed us to fully utilize our space. We began working with Karen in 2008 when we decided to put in a new kitchen, new flooring and carpeting throughout our home, as well as complete bathroom remodels, and fresh paint and moldings. We were overwhelmed with all the decisions and choices, but Karen made it easy, from making paint color recommendations, to cabinet choices, and carpet and flooring options. She was truly involved in our project every step of the way. Karen has a can-do, positive attitude, and she is enjoyable to work with. Our project went quickly, stayed within budget, and made us fall in love with our home again. We contacted Karen again in 2010 to redecorate our three Bedrooms, Living Room and Family Room. When Karen finished, we felt as though we had stepped into the pages of a magazine! Karen showed us different ways to use our space, and in 2013 created an office area that we enjoy using daily. The improvements Karen suggested raised the value of our home far beyond the cost of the improvements. Karen was easy to work with. She helped us avoid costly mistakes. She listened when we told her how we wanted to use our space and when we described the way we lived. We were happy with every recommendation she made, from colors to contractors, We are delighted to say that our home is now our favorite place to be. “Cheryl began working with us ~ 1.5 years ago. We had done a lot of redecorating in our house previously but it still didn't look quite right to us. She had us walk through alone and then jointly with her to review all the things we didn't love about the house or that needed updating. She really transformed our entire house into a much cozier and tranquil space. She has an exceptional eye for color and space. She gave us ideas on wall colors that would tie rooms together, new carpets/rugs, furniture. I never would have picked out what she did yet it perfectly fit with our style. She provided us with a huge assortment of possible furniture, window treatments, etc... at different prices that we could choose from and specifically where to buy them. Once I narrowed the possibilities, she provided me with all the data in a large folder that was arranged by room. We slowly went through our "Homework" room by room on our owne for the last year and have been thrilled with the results. Cheryl is not inexpensive, but I don't think we could have made our house into the home of our dreams without her. She is flexible on ways to make things more affordable and you can get reduced pricing at various furniture and other stores through her. Just be aware that she put in ~ 50 hrs to recommend the many improvements in our house to give you a sense of what the cost might be.”

An Arts and Crafts house in Portland, Oregon that I watched her and and husband lovingly renovate and transform into the jewel of the neighborhood with a perfect shade of emerald green on the outside, and an open concept living room and kitchen-- made the home an even more beautiful residence.
