“I had never worked with a professional designer before, but with the size and scope of our project, I felt like I really wanted to have help to be sure everything flowed across the entire design and all of the rooms. I had the good fortune of working with Trish through most of the first part of the remodel. The time and care she put into that part of the project made it a no-brainer to seek her out to finish the job. Trish did not disappoint. She was there every step of the way, guiding us through the myriad decisions we needed to make in order to remodel our kitchen. She has a great eye for design and quickly grasped my style and then incorporated it at every turn. Even through the craziness of the quarantine, she stayed on top of the job to be sure that we didn’t lose too much time and kept on top of all of the moving parts to be sure things were still moving forward as smoothly as possible. The end result - we are absolutely THRILLED! Our kitchen is amazing, and Trish left no stone unturned. I am now looking for another project just to work with her again! The Peacock's Nest not only understands this idea, but delivered a design that went above our expectations. We requested a modern kitchen that was warm, fun, functional and bright, Cachet Adams delivered! She took extensive time to understand our goals and delivered results that accomplished every aspect of the project. She was detailed, creative,professional and an overall joy to work with. She provided a design that fit our budget (actually came in under budget, win), but the results are sophisticated and high end. Renovations can be stressful, but she made the experience so enjoyable we thought we were on an HGTV show, lol. We're so excited to list this rental property because of her creative magic, we know a future tenant will love it as much as we do. This is only the beginning and we can't wait to have another signature Peacock's Nest desi”

She has created some lovely interior spaces and window treatments. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a creative designer. We worked together on the Suzanna Wesley House where homeless women stay while getting back on their feet. It was our yearly charity project for our WCAA group. Trish created some lovely window treatments for the home.”

“Having discovered Vara, Inc. on the internet, we have worked with Laura Lacovara and her team extensively three times over a period of several years. We originally chose Laura due to her being a member of ASID, and the impressive work samples on her website. Laura is professional, dependable, hard-working, fair-minded, and quite personable. She is also down to earth, compassionate, and honest. Her knowledge, creativity, and design work speak for themselves. Laura allows a client to be as hands on (or not!) as one desires. She is willing to reuse and/or repurpose items that are still serviceable, rather than purging everything (unless you want to!). This practice helps one to most efficiently use available funds. Laura works with her clients as the project progresses, and allows prioritizing, additions, and changes if the need arises. Laura is a perfectionist, with an eye for details, and won't be happy unless you are! Over the years, Laura has designed our family room, sunroom, living room, master bedroom with sitting area, and is currently remodeling our master bath. Additionally, she has done numerous small projects for us, such as recovering the dining room chair seats, helping us find the perfect high-quality kitchen table and chairs for a small space, doing a mini-update in our powder room, and adding a safety rail to the front porch (in progress now). It's fun and satisfying to complete a project with Laura, but so sad to see her and her team leave!”

“Chris Zoltan is a tremendous talent. His vision and insight are worth every cent of the design charge. I was nervous throughout the project. But in the end I realized that Chris had it right from the beginning. My living room and dining room space look distinctive and high style. His firm designed and manufactured customized leather love seats for my undersized living room. The love seats are gorgeous and so high quality. They were expensive but worth every single penny. There were some glitches in the project. I felt that the firm could be more transparent about the cost of ordering items through them versus ordering them yourself. It will save time and grief to order through them but it will cost you more money upfront. This cost is totally worth the convenience and, in retrospect, I would have paid it. But for cost conscious clients the firm should be upfront about that additional cost. Overall, I LOVE the design Zoltan executed for my project. I would use the firm again in a heartbeat. If you are looking for design on the cheap, Zoltan is def not for you. For distinctive, high quality design, Zoltan is an amazing partner for your project.”
