“Brenda decorated our living/dining/kitchen area as well as our guest bedroom and bath. We asked her to incorporate some of the items we already had as well as all of our furninture, then gave her a small budget for additonal items to tie the rooms together. Then we went on vacation and gave her the house for a week. Our reveal when we came home was great! I was amazed at how different the rooms looked just by how she rearraned the furniture and changed the placement of most of our art. It was a completely different room. And the curtains and acessories she added are gorgeous! It's been about 7 months now and I still sit on my couch and admire how beautiful the space is. She definatley listened to what we wanted and absoltuely delivered.”

“We worked with Suzanne on a large remodeling project covering 8 rooms/areas of our house. She took the time to learn how we used these spaces and how we wanted to use them in the future. She also paid attention to special needs such as the pets that we have and keeping this in mind when selecting furnishings. “It was my first time working with an interior design firm, and I chose Hermosa Style Co (after interviewing five other designers) because of their aesthetic, availability, and the price and flexibility of their services. I needed my fireplace re-designed, my kitchen updated, the interiors painted, and help with new furniture selection for my family and dining rooms. I wanted to make the transition from a mid-century aesthetic to a more Tulum-esque global organic vibe, but I didn't have a high-end budget. Heather and Alexa did a site visit, documented my existing furniture and art pieces, and came up with a plan for construction and furniture that did not blow my budget. I am very happy with the final results! The project was executed thoughtfully from start to finish, including project management of the construction phase. The designers really got my desired aesthetic and suggested reasonably priced, but inspired and unique furnishings. Alexa, who I worked with most closely, has an open, honest, and patient attitude. She clearly has a passion for interior design and is an active listener who is able to pivot quickly. She has exquisite taste. The idea to do open shelving in the kitchen, add a casing to the vent hood to match the aesthetic of the new fireplace design, and add a banquette breakfast nook led to big impact without crazy construction costs. When I decided I didn't want to spend money on re-doing the kitchen cabinets, they found quality, affordable knobs and pulls to replace the existing ones, and instructed the contractor to make slight tweaks to the cabinets to make them while not new--definitely more fresh and finished-looking. I would highly recommend the team at Hermosa Style Co!”
