“Last fall, we took on our first remodel project (master bath) and hired Kathie Maughan to work with us on the project. While we had the choice of just having her do a design for us, we knew we wanted the added comfort of having her handle all the details, and had her manage the project as well. This was a really good decision. Kathie made sure we felt comfortable with every phase of the project and worked hard at correcting any issues that came up. She checked in almost every day and was always available to answer my questions (even on a Saturday at one point). But beyond the pleasure of working with Kathie, is the pleasure of working with her wonderfully conscientious crew. They answered questions, explained processes and were unfailingly friendly and courteous. This is a great bunch of people to have come into your home and leave a beautiful space behind. We are truly pleased with the results and will use Maughan Design again in the future.”

“Chris Miller is Black Cat Designs. He designed our 1900s kitchen to bring it updated but kept it with the period of the house. He did the same with our upstairs bathroom. He also designed and is advising me how to direct contractors for a quilting studio that is nicely blending with our 100-year old home. I will always work with Chris. I trust his judgment as he is clear why something would or may not work. I trust his integrity and work ethic. Excellent work.”

“I hired Phyllis from this company to help me select interior paint colors for a 1913 house we just purchased. She was delightful to work with. She paid attention to my very vague ideas of what I wanted and was able to suggest colors that met that vision. She also provided useful decor and furnishing ideas. I recommend her highly!”

“My wife and I are an older couple needing an easy walk-in shower.After going to home shows and big box stores. We requested Toss the Tub to make a design and an estimate. We also received competitive bids from other companies. We explained our tight budget and requirements. They came to our house and discussed all the aspects of what would need to be done. They provided all the details, materials, and time frames of when things would be done. They also offered to allow us to do some of the finishing items to keep costs down. I explained that I might have to do a portion of the project a piece at a time. They offered financing at real reasonable terms. They also offered to do parts now and later as we could afford it. They are going to replace our tub with a tiled shower, floor and back splash. The final design changed as couple of times but they worked with us each time. The final cost was less than $8000 much less than I expected. I will send pictures when the job is done in August or you can come by and take them we they are working.”

“DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen remodeled our kitchen for us. We had builder grade cabinets and tile counter tops. We had the standard kitchen desk that always served as a place to dump stuff to be forgotten. Moving around our kitchen was tight with the long island in the middle. Through DMBK we were able to get affordable cabinets that looked amazing, granite counters and under mount sink, new back splash and they resized the island to give us more room to move around. Joe suggested replacing the little kitchen desk with a storage cabinet that went from floor to ceiling and had pull out drawers....what a great idea!! That DOUBLED our storage in the kitchen. They put in new LED can lights to replace the standard ugly can lights from the builder and saved us money on electricity bills. They even bought enough wood flooring to patch the area that used to be covered by the island and installed it. We are totally impressed with the professionalism, the promptness, the communication and the craftsmanship we experienced with DMBK. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Joe and crew!!”

I felt that they really listened to us and designed and executed a plan that made great use of our space and fit our specific needs. “I hired John and Creekstone for a significant remodel of our kitchen/dining room/breakfast nook. John is amazing to work with: honest, reliable, creative and does high quality work with great care and detail. We were on schedule, on budget, and he streamlined the project and managed it with great pride and and precision. I felt John treated our home as it was his own, with minimal disruption and consideration. I was so impressed with John's work that he has just completed one bathroom remodel and will be undertaking the master bed/bathroom soon. I would highly recommend John and his company. Not only is his work excellent, but he is a quality guy who is genuine, likable and a pleasure to work with.”
