“We hired Vlada to renovate a 1070's bathroom with worn vanity and PINK tile in one of our single family rental houses. The agreement was for him to do all demolition and replace the flooring and walls. In addition, he was to convert a useless hall closet into a useful series of shelves in the new bathroom. The results were spectacular--so much so that we hired him to renovate a second bathroom and to enclose a window and reconstruct part of a wall in another rental house. We then asked him to "spruce up" a third bathroom in a third house and could not believe our eyes when we saw what he accomplished with only a bit of drywall compound, caulking, and paint! It was hard to believe it was the same bathroom. We fear we might working against our best interests in writing this review because we intend to hire Vlada for all future real estate improvements and hope he'll not become so busy he won't have time for all the work we have in our single family rental home business. We are NEW AGAIN HOMES with a BBB rating of A+ which means we can't afford to write exaggerated reviews that would damage our own reputation. you can trust our word when we say Vlada will be the "go to" person for us for so long as we have renovation projects to be done. Our own home will be the next venue on the list of projects for which we intend to hire Vlada. And by the way, he's an exceptionally nice person with quite reasonable rates! He's fast, which is extremely important in our business, and he's also 100% dependable. He comes up with creative solutions to "sticky" problems and turns eyesores into items of beauty! “I enjoyed working with Huges for a number of reasons. They took the time to look at the space, listen to my concerns and ideas, and then help refine them to address what my vision of the space could be. An example would be in remodeling the kitchen we did not have a dishwasher but with a review of the space we were able to add the dishwasher and include a new drawer unit as well. The workers also addressed some small details that were not even discussed originally - they made our mover the range microwave look built. They also corrected a problem with a new cabinet that was installed that backed up to an existing cabinet (you could see the back of the new cabinet and open space that caused an awkward drop. They looked at the problem and solved it without any problem, complaint, or extra cost. We were able to stay within our budget. The end result of the whole kitchen remodel gave us what we wanted and opened up a small kitchen. We liked them so well that they are going to be working on our next project – our bathroom. We are just wrapping up the details and are looking forward to a completely new bathroom.”

“The Best Company!!! I've done many different projects with Alex within last 15 years. He painted my house inside and outside, refinished the hardwood floors of the entire house, finished many plumbing, electrical and carpentry projects, remodeled my bathroom, installed Jacuzzi tub, installed de-icing cables on my roof, made vents from the kitchen and bathroom through the roof, moved ducts to another location, installed motion sensors in our bathroom, replaced garage door opener, etc. You name it - he did it. My Bathroom is the work of art! You can see the dolphin he designed for me and curved from black granite and white marble on his web site. He even made dolphin eye winking when I enter the bathroom by putting a little light in the dolphin eye. Within all those 15 years I never even tried to call anybody else. If I need to clean gutters, or to replace faucet or dishwasher; or to install micro-hood - Alex is there for me. He is a wonderful person and easy to talk to about anything. He knows a lot about construction and does all his work according to national specifications which are always in his truck and ready to be shown to customers at their request. “In November 2014, Ohio Cabinets (part of A-to-Z Construction) built us a custom frameless cabinet wall with storage and a paneled recess to accommodate our king bed. The cabinet wall includes built-in reading lights, bookshelves, and drop-door trays to serve as sleek nightstands. We are THRILLED with the job Ohio Cabinets did and how their top-quality work transformed our bedroom into something that looks like a five-star hotel room. Working with Ed (the owner) as well as the staff was an absolute pleasure because they're all smart and experienced carpenters. The cabinet wall they built for us is a sleek and modern frameless design with slab doors and hidden latches (and no handles), and Ed was able to work out the nitty-gritty details (such as the edging and molding design, etc.) without hassling us or assuming too much about our taste, either. The design is 100% for the space and layout of our room, and just $1,000 more than we were planning to pay for semi-custom ... for something that's PERFECT. I also appreciate that Ed warned us from the beginning that I would need to wait five weeks for the cabinets, and then he would need access to our home for two full days. That's EXACTLY how it went down ... everything on schedule, and none of the typical contractor delays. I felt totally comfortable with leaving Ed and his quality team in charge of the wiring detials for the electrified portion of our cabinets. I also felt comfortable with leaving the Ohio Cabinet team alone in our house, because they are a trustworthy bunch as well. My favorite part about the cabinet wall is how the Ohio Cabinet team perfectly matched and finished the wood grain (we picked Ginger-stained cherry with a satin finish) and so beautifully finished the panel that goes behind our bed to match.
