We live in a round house and the layout was more complicated than I assume a typical kitchen is normally. We were able to get everything we asked for! With help from Don we designed sleek modern cabinetry with no hardware using an MPK recommended push pull interlocking system that leaves the cabinets totally without hardware and very minimalist looking. I feel that Don held our hand every step of the way as we made decisions. “Julie Holzman is simply terrific. She has great taste and is the consummate professional. She really listens. She has terrific contacts, having been in the business for many years, great sources and gives you plenty of attention even if you have a small project. I went to her for help after the designers I hired skipped town halfway through decorating an entire house. She was the only decorator I interviewed (and I spoke with many) who understood I had no desire to start over from scratch. She looked at what had been started, remained true to the original vision, made an exact assessment of what was needed to finish the job. She didn't waste time trying to convince me to get rid of things just because I had purchased them from other decorators. In fact, she made the entire experience a pleasure and now the house looks sensational. I wish I could have hired her from the beginning. “My husband and I considered several design firms before selecting Riemer Kitchens for our remodeling project. Unlike other companies that simply took us through their photos of past projects, Ruth Riemer , who was the first person we met from the company, was proactive in her approach and sat us down with rough drawings and possible suggestions for the project even before we committed to Riemer Kitchens. This was our first remodeling project and Ruth was extremely patient with us as we carefully made all of our selections from the cabinetry, to paint colors, to the tile and stone, and all of the fixtures. Ruth also took time to help with other design elements such as lighting drawer pulls and handles on her own time and dime. Her recommendation of a contractor, Elite Designs, proved to be an excellent one as well. Ruth kept in constant contact with us throughout the project and was always available to answer any questions we had. Both she and Paul were on site for the delivery of our cabinets and inspected every piece before we moved to the installation phase.
