Lorena spearheads the project by making style and material choices based on extensive collaboration with the clients. John and Henry carry out the hard lifting with precision work, whether it be laying hardwood floor or gutting and renovating a bathroom. Pre-preparation and cleanup is thorough and great effort is made to protect the lived in parts of the house. Lorena and the guys truly work as a team, constantly consulting and clarifying details as the project progresses. Time lines are respected despite the inevitable obstacles that arise in any renovation. Lorena does not decorate spaces: she has the ability to capture the spirit of a space by spending time with clients to understand who they are and what they like and need. She has a knack of redistributing and repurposing prized possessions of the client. The end result is both beautiful and magical. She places the needs of the clients first. Her aim is to stay on, if not under budget. Lorena spends hours hunting bargains. She delights in finding the perfect you-won’t-believe-what-I-just-found item. In the end it’s always about “what you want”. The more we worked with Lorena, the more we came to trust her decisions.
