“Andrew Doscher has extensive knowledge and experience about getting a remodel done. He worked with me on the design for my bathroom and made excellent suggestions. His work and the work of his subs (Plumber Dave Robbin, electrician Creative Electric (Joe), and Charter Oak Flooring (Bobby Zurell), Oasis Glass was top notch. The bathroom was gutted completely on one side - ceramic floor up, large tub out, shower out, a wall cut down and moved, new subfloor installed so that there was not shower lip, dry walling, taping and finishing, new shower pan and drain, new tub, new tile floor, new tiled shower, tile surround for tub and surround for existing sink vanity, new lighting, plumbing moved, new automatic fan, new shower doors. It was a very large project and required precise coordination. the result is beautiful and very functional - everything I wanted.”

“Having bought a house with "good bones," but outdated, we were willing to tackle lots of DIY projects. The complete gutting and reconfiguration of the master bath was not one of those projects, however. We visited the big box kitchen and bath departments and a number of local contractors. We came upon DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen in the process and visited their design studio. After a couple of conversations with Ernest Gilbert, the owner, and a thorough check of references (including BBB and Angie's List) we asked Mr. Gilbert to visit our home and prepare a quote. To be honest, it wasn't the lowest. But we liked the thorough approach -- including a consultation with a designer on the firm's staff -- and signed a contract for the work to begin. It was a mess, for certain, but daily clean-up was done scrupulously by the staff and the attention to detail was outstanding. We're picky, but the lead carpenter on the job was even more so. He rejected work by subcontractors we might have easily accepted and never relented until the finish was perfect. We have had contractors do jobs for us in the past -- from additions to complete new construction -- but this experience was the best. We liked the result so much we have hired DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen to now renovate our kitchen.”

“I put off a remodel for years based on all the stories of delays, cost overages and headaches. This last year it was time to bite the bullet and do the entire house; yes, the kitchen, both bathrooms, all the floors, walls, scrape the popcorn ceilings, all new doors trim and baseboards, new lighting and fans, carpet and tile out and vinyl plank flooring in. The project went from demo to rebuild quickly and we had our share of hiccups but Mark and his crew were always ready to listen and quickly respond. There was a lot of hand holding and talking me off the edge but Mark and Jean were always ready to listen and quick to respond with advice and solutions. Honestly I don’t think I ever had to leave a voice message – Mark answered his phone every time I called. Mark proved that the true worth of a contractor is not found when everything is going as planned; it’s found when things are off track or you need some reassurance and experience to lean on. Mark provided all of this while juggling a number of other projects and deadlines. Mark had us back in our home right on schedule and the job actually finished a week early. Is a remodel fun – definitely not but with Mark (Custom Kitchens, Bath and Beyond) you can rest in the confidence that they will make your satisfaction their top priority. Looking back to our first meeting and remembering what I initially asked for and now seeing the finished project I see a lot of what I wanted and a good bit of what Mark recommended and the wife and I just couldn’t be happier. We’ve got our dream home along with a friend who has a company I wouldn’t hesitate to call on again. Quality, workmanship, dependability, experience, trustworthiness, dedication to excellence and friendliness are all ways I would describe Custom Kitchens, Bath and Beyond.
