“We had pavers installed in the front and a paver patio was created in our backyard with lighting and a waterfall. We had beautiful trees and bushes put in to compliment our modern design. We have paver walls with lights and a gate to close off the patio. Creative designs did such an amazing job that neighbors have stopped by to admire our landscaping and lighting. From start to finish Alex focused on what we wanted to accomplish. He transplanted overgrown bushes and re-designed the planting beds around our patio providing privacy, shade and perennial color. Alex is very knowledgable but welcomed our input and plant preferences which was not the case with landscapers we had hired in the past. He clearly communicated the schedule and completed the project on time. We highly recommend Park Avenue Gardens. We love the beautiful gardens they created for us!”

From initial contact to design to installation, Emma has been fantastic at communication and letting me know each step of the process. She's also a lovely person who is so easy to talk to, work with and professional. Her installation team was efficient and did a marvelous job of first taking out my huge overgrown hedges, trees and ivy. They then installed the new garden complete with pavers, fountain, plants and containers. It's totally transformed the front of my home and made it the nicest one on the block!”

Pat used top notch products and went above and beyond during the instillation process by putting all lines in a conduit to help alleviate damage to wires when digging in the yard. We are thrilled with the job and constantly get compliments on his work. We also use Pat for periodic landscaping projects such as mulching and general garden maintenance. After seeing the results of Lisa Mierop’s designs from friends and neighbors we asked her to view our property and show us a plan. The plans Lisa drew up for the front and back that blew us away. Lisa showed us we can add curves, height, and dimension. She incorporated existing foliage, and added in an artistic blend of flowers, plants, and trees; as well as fencing and hardscaping. Our yard receives nonstop compliments from neighbors and people walking and driving by. For the past several years, as a board member of Van Vleck House & Gardens in Montclair, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Lisa on professional level. Lisa has been the keynote speaker for the 2014 Roses to Rock Garden Tour. In 2014 she kicked off our series “Landscape by the Yard,” offering four practical workshops for the home gardener.
