These same traits carried over as he spent 6 weeks on my space, doing everything from sculpting raised beds and procuring and laying large boulders, to building a fire pit, to helping me choose plants and then planting them. “If you are looking for a unique water feature, Backyard Getaway is the answer. Their themed water designs are one of a kind and built with attention to detail. In addition, the owners are generous to the extreme, volunteering their time and expertise to schools and non-profits. We worked on a contest spearheaded by Backyard Getaway to give away a complete backyard makeover, including a custom pond, outdoor fireplace, pergola, hydroponic system and small storage shed. Definitely the type of people you'd want to work with!”

“Doug and his team did an excellent job with my yard. We are getting a bunch of compliments and questions about who did the landscaping. From the start Doug was honest, detailed, and knowledgeable. He worked with my budget and listened to what it was I wanted to do. He made expert suggestions to make sure everything looked professional and would last for years to come. The plants he picked out are perfect and placed with care where they will flourish best. I can’t say enough good things about the team that put everything together. They were responsive, hard working, detail oriented, and consistently checked with me to make sure everything was how I had envisioned it. They made sure the worksite was cleaned up afterward and did a full walkthrough with me. They truly went above and beyond. The job was schedule to take place just before hurricane Idalia. Instead of just knocking it out and hoping for the best, Doug made the call to hold off until after, which tells me he really cares about the quality of work and the customer. Medscapes has my gratitude and I recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality company for their landscaping needs.
