“I have loved working with Karen and really appreciate her expertise and creativity. Her lighting design has transformed our yard into a very special place at night by highlighting the evergreens, dogwoods, plants, and the canopy we have above our property because of the large trees that surround it. Our guests definitely notice the atmosphere that she has created and the quality of her work. In addition to creating beautifully lit surroundings, Karen is very conscientious about fixing any problems you might have. She went out of her way to accommodate us after our landscapers mistakenly cut through a wire and we had out of town guests coming. She wanted the lighting to be working perfectly for their arrival and came over right away to fix it. We are very happy with the job her company has done and have continued to add to our lighting under Karen's expert guidance.”

“Hired this company to service my outdoor up-lighting system. The technician was timely and identified the work to be done. Given the bad weather, he informed me he needed to come back on a given day to finish the work. He did have the office reschedule and he returned as schedule to complete the work. He walked me through the work he had done when he was finished. Very thorough and professional. i would definitely use them again.”

“Project was to remove old florescent fixtures and install 8 recessed lights and island fixture wired to new box with dimmers. Project was completed on time and with no mess. Contractors took care to cut as few access holes as possible making ceiling repair very easy. Professional staff that went above and beyond even so much as to show me how the under- counter lights should be wired and mounted. Would definitely recommend the company for any electrical need.”

“At every visit - this company has proved to be top-notch, with very simple repairs, to rather complex issues with our very old, historic building in downtown Baltimore. The owner, Arnold, and the lead project guy - Matt, and the whole team are professional, quiet, and responsible. Winn has done several projects for us recently, and in the past, and would always recommend them first. The estimates and pricing seem rather fair to me, as I have worked with many electricians and electric companies over the past 20 years. As an Interior Designer, it is critical that my vendors are on-time, on-budget and complete projects in a clean, professional and timely manner. “I used Atlantic Irrigation back in 2009 with founder Steve Flury. They were hands-down the best contractors I’ve ever hired to do anything to my home. At the time, I was juggling two outdoor projects – getting the lawn redressed / reseeded and having the irrigation system installed. Steve assured me that the lawn would look as good as or better than when he came… he was right. I actually had the system installed AFTER the lawn was reseeded (which is intuitively opposite) yet everything turned out perfectly. Steve’s workers were the hardest working team I’ve ever seen – before or since. Upon his subsequent passing, I worked with his daughter Mary Sears, PE in 2012 for some substantial repairs and modifications after pool and fence work. Again the work was very thorough and professional. They return every year to close my system and the system has worked perfectly every year. I highly recommend Atlantic Irrigation for all of your irrigation needs.”

“I have two very different Nikkuu Design lamps in my home and I love them both! The "terra lamp 1.0 terrarium lamp" sits on my desk. Children and adults alike are enchanted by it. I like that I have two option to switch out the bulb if I prefer the frosted look. The design is contemporary yet vintage, it is consistent with styles of today while appearing timeless. I also have a custom designed variation of the "mizuu 2.0 wall sconce." I choose not to mount mine on the wall but to place it on a glass shelf to illuminate my corner glass display cabinet. I love the combination of high quality brass and silk cord. I have had Nikkuu Design provide me with lighting consultations throughout my home and trust their advice. I am a big fan of Nikkuu Design and have two pieces of wall art as well as many necklaces and earrings. As a savvy consumer, I appreciate that Nikkuu Design often offers discounts on retail merchandise at the various craft fairs, markets and participates in online sales on select websites.
