“I hired DPCC to demolish and replace a screened porch on my 1930's Dutch Colonial in Southern Maryland based on architectural plans. Doug Pruett's bid was accurate and reasonable. He pulled permits right away and his crew completed the entire project on budget within 2.5 weeks. Doug was extremely responsive to all inquiries I made via phone or email. His crew worked diligently and did an amazing job with the intricate trim. They answered any questions I had as the job was going along and kept the site neat, cleaning it up at the end of each work day. When the job was complete there was an issue with the deck stain not setting properly. Doug followed up with the supplier and was able to obtain free replacement stain and sent a crew out to resand and restain the flooring at no additional cost to me. I could not have had a better experience with this project and highly recommend DPCC!”

“We hired Karma Home Designs to renovate our bathroom area, refinish hardwood floors, paint the entire house, and change the conventional hot water heater to a tankless electric water heater. Karma's crew did an excellent job converting an old one-unit tub shower to a frameless walk-in shower that now looks like a million dollars!! Also did a very nice job painting the entire home and refinishing hardwood floors that had deep cuts and numerous scratches. Our home feels more spacious and bright. Karma's managing partners are young, professional and have the knowledge to propel them to greater heights. They are personable, honest and worked well with us to make our vision a reality! Karma's strength is working within the budget. As in every renovation project, there were some delays and hiccups along the way but Karma worked diligently to address those issues. “This is a review of the house design that Bill Chesshire did for me in Severna Park, Maryland. His design is unique in that it it a one story with high ceilings so the feel is great spaciousness. The master bedroom is huge with a walk-in closet that has plenty of hanging space for clothes. My main bathroom is completely functional with a walk-in shower with no step down. The floor just flows into the shower area. When guests step in the front door, they get the whole view at once, looking straight back to the huge, high kitchen windows, which also gives a person, a quick glimpse of the beautiful setup of the kitchen even before they get back to that area. I am so enjoying living here.”

“We've had two jobs done by Tom and Bev and been more than pleased with both. The initial job was a remodel of an existing home office/guest room and adjoining bath. Three years later we engaged them again to replace our dilapidated garage with a two story free standing garage/shop and upstairs studio/guest quarters. The latter project has elicited praise from all the neighbors, and many passersby have stopped to inquire who did the work. In both of these instances we were impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail of both Beverly the architect and Tom the builder. Bev really listened to our concerns and worked with us to try out different approaches until we found the design that fit our needs and desires for the space, giving helpful advice and pointing out things that we would not have noticed until too late. She shepherded the project through the permitting and inspection process, making sure that no issues with setback or height restrictions arose. Tom was involved in every phase of the construction, dealing with suppliers and subcontractors as well as keeping us informed with daily email updates on progress made, problems encountered, and what the next step would be. He worked with us to achieve our design goals while staying within budget. Living in a construction zone can be stressful, but Tom's crew were great. The guys take very real pride in what the create. They went about their business with a minimum of mess and were always careful to keep the disruption contained. At the conclusion of the garage job we had an open house and invited the carpentry crew and their families. I would not hesitate to recommend Beverly Thomas LLC for one second and have done so many times.”
