“John Newton of Cornerstone Builders recently built us a home in Weatherford, TX. We could not be more pleased!! John is a man of high integrity. He is a family man, trustworthy, and very intent on making everything right! John is extremely reliable, which is important in the building process. He answers emails, texts and is regularly on site. Having a talented builder is a real plus. He leveled dirt on a tractor, dabbled in a couple plumbing projects, installed appliances and much more. He even cut a metal hanging candle holder that I wanted to hang in a niche; it was just a tad bit too large. He has been in the profession long enough to have selected some outstanding contractors. We feel that we had the "best of the best" plumbers, electricians, tile layers, carpenters, etc. I don't think we will be moving from this gorgeous home, but If we did need to downsize or move for any reason, John would be building us another home! “Matt at MHB built our custom home in 2022. We knew after meeting Matt for the first time he would be our builder. Matt is easy to work with, trustworthy and genuinely works to bring your dream to life as he did with our home. All projects have their ups and downs and Matt never wavered and kept our project moving as we worked through pandemic shortage issues at the time even doing some things out of the normal order to keep us on track. We would recommend Matt and MHB 100% without hesitation and as a matter of fact we did as he is currently working on my wife's sisters home currently due to be completed by this summer of 2024. We don't see Matt as just our builder, we built a relationship with him and could not be happier. If you are planning a custom home, do yourself a favor and call Matt/MHB.”

“I would highly recommend Ellen Taylor to build a home for anyone. She is Honest, Nice, and pays meticulous attention to detail. When I was choosing a builder to build my house in Paradise, TX, She invited me to go and see several houses about the same size I wanted to build. The owners were all happy to see her and very proud of their homes. I was impressed with the fit and finish of all!! As we proceeded with building my home, I was impressed how precise everything went together. When I requested something unusual, Ellen would come up with a way to get it done!! All the subcontractors were totally professional. I would be very comfortable to have my family around any of them. She presented me with an estimate of the cost, and when the house was finished, it was right on target with her estimate. “My elderly parents hired Summit Country Homes & Remodeling to remove their existing privacy fence and install a new one all around their backyard. I often worry about my parents being taken advantage of because of their age; Mr. Jones (owner) made me feel at ease immediately. He was very accurate and timely on his quote, plus handled everything from cradle to grave with integrity, professionalism and honesty. With more than 15 years experience as a builder, Mr. Jones’ expertise was key in helping my parents make an informed decision as far as material, height, width, and cost options. His attention to detail is impeccable and that is what makes his work unique. Did I mention that he even built a miniature ladder so my parents’ beloved cats can get up on the fence and sunbathe (the cats’ favorite hobby)? Although this may seem insignificant to many of us, this small detail made a big difference to my parents, they were ecstatic! Mr. Jones truly cares about his customers and takes great pride in his work. Simply put, we will continue calling on Summit Country Homes for all of our building/remodeling needs - again and again. “I just want to thank you all for the beautiful home. It really is perfect. I have to admit, signing a contract to build my forever home while living in England was quite unnerving. I put a lot of trust and faith in you all since I had actually never seen one of your homes in person....and I have to say....I was not let down. The entire staff at Best Homes was so wonderful to work with. Larry was always available whenever I called, Mike answered all my emails, Diana drove all over Texas to find my tiles, Kent busted his rear end to get it finished in time for Christmas and Sherry....along with the front office staff was always super pleasant. You guys were so patient with me and all my questions, requests and changes...and having to coordinate everything from two different continents was not easy. But what I especially loved was that I never felt like a customer....but more like a friend....and I wouldn't have that with one of the big corporation builders. Thank you for my home and new friendships!!! I also want to add...its been a month and half since we moved in and Best Homes has been awesome about coming out and reminding me how things work, fixing the few little minor things, and checking in on us to make sure everything was going good! You didn't just build me a perfect home, you've also continued to provide outstanding after care and customer service.”

“I highly recommend Ferrier Custom Homes. In 2014 we decided to jump head first into an extensive renovation of our house, which was built in 1955. Ferrier listened to us and offered solutions to many problems that we weren't sure would be resolved easily. They helped with structural upgrades such as, a new roof replacement for our low pitched and flat roof areas, as well as windows, exterior repairs and painting. On the interior of the house we gutted our 1955 kitchen that was in poor shape and added updated electrical, tankless water heater and they designed and built an absolutely stunning kitchen that is modern and retro just as we wanted. They were always professional, on time and kept us informed during what can be an unnerving process of having your house torn up while trying to live in it at the same time. I highly recommend Ferrier and we are very happy with the work that they did for us on our home.”
