You did that as promised and on time despite a range of challenges. Some of those were anticipated and we believe that your thorough planning and attention to detail minimized any impact they may have otherwise had. Others were unforeseeable and could easily have ruined any chance of our success. Only your collaborative and creative approach to those surprises allowed us to reach our desired goals. We quickly sensed that you understood our aspirations for the place, and appreciated our enthusiasms and needs, even those that may at first have seemed questionable. Your reasoned advice, tempered with wisdom and sympathy for our cause, helped us maintain our true course and never seemed intended to deflect it. We began with an aging fishing camp cottage on an isthmus overlooking two lakes and some noteworthy architectural features that included classic arts & crafts bungalow lines, a large and well-crafted stone fireplace in a beautifully paneled great room, and an expansive screened porch. With your help we were able to preserve those special attributes in what is now a beautiful, fully functional year-round home that is safer, more comfortable and far more energy efficient than one may have thought possible. You and your team produced results that surpassed our expectations. We believe that few contractors could have managed such a successful transformation. We congratulate you on the quality, creativity and character of your own crew as well as your own good judgment in choosing the subcontractors with whom we watched you work so closely. You and your team successfully insulated what had never before been insulated, expanded a basement and installed new wiring, plumbing and a complete HVAC system. You seamlessly matched new paneling and wood flooring to old. You engineered and installed completely remodeled bathrooms, a new kitchen, a new septic system and stairways where no stairways had ever gone before. You did what you promised and exhibited rare craftsmanship and professionalism from beginning to end.
