“We hired Traci Kelley to draw up our house plans after considering doing it ourselves, realizing that we had gotten in over our heads. We are so glad that we went with her. I was very happy with her from the first meeting. She listened to what we wanted and gave her own input that ended up being far better than what I had imagined and thought of things that I had not considered. Her expertise was greatly appreciated. I got absolutely everything I wanted and more without any costly back and forth, we did some minor changes to the very first draft and that was it. The finished plans are amazing, we can't wait to see our house built.”

She listened and understood what I wanted and then improved upon that vision dramatically creating a flawless and beautiful result. “Sara helped me with my kitchen refresh and I couldn't be happier. I had a quartzite slab picked out that I was in love with and she helped me select colors for my walls and cabinets, and pick a backsplash that coordinated with the counters. I had originally been leaning towards just a simple white subway tile backsplash, but after talking to Sara, I realized that my kitchen layout would be better suited for a more geometric shaped backsplash because there were already so many long horizontal lines. I never would have thought of something like that without Sara. Sara also patiently answered about 65 photo text messages and emails from me and she pulled together a spot on mood board which gave me great direction for some small improvements I want to do in the kitchen in the future (like light fixtures and a new table). I am so in love with my kitchen and really loved working with Sara at Bandd Design!”

“The Katz Builders team is very professional. We have worked on dozens of projects together over a span of over 25 years (my firm draws the plans and Katz does the construction) and every one of my clients who has used Katz for the construction project has been very pleased with quality, professionalism and service. The level of personal attention and care they provide is unparalleled. In one remodel, for instance, they painstakingly removed the original wood casing from doors and reinstalled it after the remodel was finished. Their tile installer did my own floors and I was extremely impressed with how carefully he and his lead installer planned the layout to make sure that the tile was centered on several different axes as well as ensuring no small slivers of tile at edges and other subtle things I would never have noticed had they done it incorrectly. If something "doesn't seem right" about plans we have provided, the Katz team always call to make sure they get it right rather than "winging it" in the field risking misinterpretation of our intent. They have used many of the same sub-contractors the entire time I have known them which means to me that they have loyal sub-contractors and you will get consistent and high quality results from them. And, once again, I want to mention that in all these years I have not once had a homeowner come back to me and complain about them as their builder. That is very rare in this business.”
