“This company was recommended to us by a worker at the VA in Pineville, LA, initially to adapt our bathroom to the handicaps of the veteran in the home. Upon meeting them and with their help, applying for a major veteran's grant to make the whole house handicap-accessible, we found them to be very helpful and knowledgeable about home construction, finances, and meeting the government standards necessary to meet the veteran's needs. His bathroom was completely renovated with a shower that is accessible from a wheelchair. A new bedroom was added with a closet that is also easily accessible from a wheelchair with clothes rods low enough for him to reach. Ramps were installed to make two wheelchair exits available with decks large enough to turn to exit the house. Also a carport cover was built for easy access to the ramp leading to the bedroom. Wiring, plumbing, and flooring were upgraded to meet government standards. Had these changes not been noticed and made, the veteran's living conditions could have soon become quite dangerous. If it had not been for these contractors, we would not have known about and therefore, benefited from this government grant. With their help and guidance, we were able to greatly improve the daily living of the veteran.”
