Exterior help! Ugly Contemporary

We bought a new home on a lake. Love the views! House has rotting cedar and windows - will need complete replacement. Window sizes can be adjusted. Anyone with any ideas? Ignore the landscaping for now - that is also a work in progress. It has potential, people!
