This is a very good article if not just for the sake of an alternative thinking to the notion of what a house could and should be.

We have been so conditioned away from nature we assume that mastery of our environment is about the destruction of the natural Landscape.

We certainly can have all our needs met within a smaller footprint of land, and doing so quite elegantly. Having the power of destruction don’t always mean we need to exercise that ability.

These small buildings reminds us that living within the capacity of the environment is always possible. The use use of materials are always subjected to our knowledge, awareness and willingness to bend out of our straight jacket of rigid conformity.

Thank you much for this article. I hope it will serve to inspire those with the means and desire to build a more conscious world community to house our very fleeting bodies.
